A list of puns related to "Regent Of Hungary"
And if the latter, would it be for a kingdom of Hungary or rather a Kingdom of Austria-Hungary?
Offer is out. Announcement expected shortly. Contract should be approved along party lines (which is gross that politics carries over to sports).
To Professors, the Board of Regents, USG, and anyone who will listen and help us:
We need the pass/fail option more than anything right now. Reaching higher should not be an option, mercy and understanding should be the standard. From the international student couch surfing because your home country's borders are closed, to the poor in state student who has spotty internet service, to the well off student who is comfortably at home, we all need this, we all need to be seen as humans are affected by this pandemic.
Please be aware that your students are also human beings that don't simply exist just do schoolwork or exist to get good grades. We are human beings also being personally affected by this pandemic. Not every student has a stable, loving home environment, perfect health, or even decent internet service. We are scared as we watch people in our lives get sick and possibly die, or lost their jobs and can't afford food, or even have to continue to risk their lives as essential workers. Myself and many other students I personally know are in these positions.
We need to know that you don't care more for this class or our grades more than you care about the fact that we are also human beings. My grades are very important to me, but my health is even more important as everyone on earth stares this virus, and possibly death, in the face. Don't tell me to use schoolwork to distract myself from the state of the world. Don't assign harder tests because people may cheat. Don't give us more work because YOU are just sitting at home doing nothing and think we are all like you.
WE ARE STRUGGLING. WE ARE SCARED. I cannot speak for all the students, but I can tell you what I am concerned about, what I am stressed out about, what keeps me up at night unable to do anything but lay there and be sad.
I have concerns about my grades, as my work may dip in quality due to factors outside of my control. Home is not a good place for me to work. You constantly remind us how/what we would be doing if we were at school, but we are not that is affecting my ability to do quality work, from fear and mental health concerns regarding the pandemic, to just having internet issues and family issues being at home
I am concerned that should I get sick, professors will still expect high quality work because you all think that we are just sitting at home "doing nothing".
I have concerns about the world as a whole, for my country as whole, as the world changes right before my eyes

New DC Alex Grinchβs salary was also confirmed at $1.4 million
The whole "Minotaurs are Iron Warriors confirmed" was in my mind reading their first appearance in the book. Of course, that confirmation was from a play-tester a decade ago and can hardly be considered a confirmation. But I was on the look out for any hints (and I am still reading the book).
First thing I noted is the seemingly instinctual hatred the Imperial* Fists have for the Minotaurs. The Legions were designed with redundancies and rivalries in mind, and the Imperial* Fists/Iron Warriors rivalry is the best known.
More than that, this line from Tor Garradon struck me
>βTheyβre butchers,β he muttered, angrily stowing his pistol. βDogs without honour who serve at the whim of lesser souls. You should have told me they were here.β
>Wraight, Chris. The Regentβs Shadow (Watchers of the Throne: Warhammer 40,000 Book 2) . Kindle Edition.
Both these words have two different associations. Butchers, I think, is most associated with the Iron Warriors and their disregard for casualties when breaking sieges - the 'meat grinder' approach to siegecraft. The second word "dogs" makes me think of the War Hounds, the World Eaters before Angron renamed them.
Assuming the word choice is deliberate on the part of the author, this hints more towards chimeric chapter rather than explicitly Iron Warriors or World Eaters.
I would like to invite every member of the Board of Regents of the USG to sit in on classes at Georgia Tech while face-to-face courses are still happening. In addition, I am willing to pay them each $100/hr for each hour they spend in a lecture with more than 50 students, provided sufficient proof of attendance.
If you are a member of the Board of Regents, dm me so we can set up a verification system.
Statement of the Academic Leadership of the University of Maryland, College Park
We, the academic leaders of the University of Maryland, write to express our dismay and deep concern for the events and the process that has led to the forced retirement of President Wallace D. Loh. We have been extremely alarmed for weeks by the interference of the University System of Marylandβs Board of Regents into University governance matters. It is the President who is responsible for personnel matters at the University, and it is within the Presidentβs discretion and authority to decide whether to retain athletics staff. Through its intervention, the Board of Regents usurped the Presidentβs authority and intervened in the ability of the President to carry out his full duties and responsibilities.Β Neither the by-laws of the Board of Regents nor state law give authority to the Regents to take such actions.
As an institution of higher learning, the mission of the University of Maryland is to deliver excellence in teaching, research, and service that is of benefit to the state, the nation, and the world.Β Our strength as a University and as a community is based upon upholding our core values. First and foremost, we have a duty of care, and burden of responsibility for our students.Β In all we do, we must be guided by and realize our primary responsibility: to educate, support and protect our students.
The violation of the independence of the University to manage its human resources and operations compromises the governance structure of the University, impacts our credibility and our ability to deliver the educational services for which we exist as a public land-grant institution.Β It has already damaged the trust of students and their families, faculty, staff, alumni, donors, and supporters.
Standard VII of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, which accredits all institutions of higher education in this region, states: βThe institution is governed and administered in a manner that allows it to realize its stated mission and goals in a way that effectively benefits the institution, its students, and the other constituencies it serves. Even when supported by or affiliated with governmental, corporate, religious, educational system, or other unaccredited organizations, the institution has education as its primary purpose, and it operates as an academic institution with appropriate autonomy.β Therefore, the recent actions of the Board of Regents jeopard

His Highness Vallas Galladria II was dead, leaving the kingdom in mourning. The end had come upon suddenly, it being only a few days since he was stricken with the Ghast. Whispers spread that he had been turned inside out by the wasting sickness, the once hale and nobleman reduced to a husk in mere days.
Panic spread, as panic was inclined to do in these uncertain times. If the disease could strike down a king, one who had been appointed with the favor of God, then why not those who were less fortunate? Tale of those who coughed blood in the alleys of Galla already ran rampant, with most keeping to their homes.
The matter of ascension had been subject to strenuous debate. A child could sit upon the throne, though even the strongest of men found the perch uncomfortable. The borders were under pressure by the Lancels to the East and the Borgoni to the South. News of Galladia's passing would embolden them.
But there could be no respite from the Ghast without a God Chosen in power. A realm's protection resided in the strength of its ruler's connection with the All Mighty, and a mere regent could not hope to hold the pestilence at bay. A True King must be named.
Thus this moment came to be. Restive nobles looked long-eyed at their counterparts, each cough was greeted with a startled response from those around. Gatherings such as these did not take place while the Ghast remained unchecked. Even the market square stood empty, the wooden stalls barred and quiet.
But one could not avoid the Requirement of Fealty. The ascension of a new king must be accompanied by the renewal of oaths, Ghast or not.
The Chamberlain cleared his throat, his broad shoulders pulled back with his chest puffed out. "Here ye, here ye, come now Her Holiness the Arch Bishop of Galla, Hand of the All Mighty."
Great doors in the back of the chamber creaked open, admitting a slender woman of progressed age. Her silver hair was drawn back into a long braid, woven with the crimson and pristine white of the Holy Order of Galla. Her hands, outstretched before her, had a purple pillow with a small crown perched atop it. It had been hastily fashioned in response to the king's death.
Her head was bowed and she took the long walk down the central aisle of the throne room in short but purposeful steps. As she approached the Chamberlain, she came to a stop. He gave her a small bow. "Do yo

See title, so i used the console to play as King robert to see what happened. But when i try to appoint a coucil member (as Robert) my character is not any of the lists.
Why does this happen and how can i solve it ?
Itβs very interesting to me how the downfall of the demon aristocracy can be put down to what they didnβt do as much as what they actually did. Their silence and inaction hurt Geelan just as much, if not more, than the punishment they inflicted upon him and his clan.
This is most evident in the relationship between Geelan and the past and present Lord Bayons.
In the flashback, we see Lord Bayon I is the only one to attempt to see the reason in Geelanβs solution to the famine. But itβs only an attempt, and a feeble one at that, easily drowned out by the outraged shouts of his fellow nobles.

Lord Bayon never attempts to raise his voice again, even after Geelanβs rousing speech in favour of helping the citizens. This would be the perfect time to let his voice be heard, to give support, but instead he says nothing and allows Yverk to put an end to the discussion with nothing accomplished to help the situation.

He appears uncomfortable. He agrees with Geelan, or at least sees merit in his argument, but he dares not speak. By failing to speak, he leaves Geelan without any support amongst the nobles, a lone fighter against an immensely powerful group who prioritise their own interests over those of the people.
By isolating Geelan, Bayon unknowingly leaves him open to manipulation and rash decision-making to try and get the change he wants done. And we know how that turned out.
When Geelan learns he has been betrayed and abandoned by the aristocracy, particular focus is given to Bayon I when Yverk states they are "rotten/corrupt".

In this moment, Geelan learned that even those you consider friends, even those who hold the same principles as you, will cave and fail to put those principles into practise when they are needed most.
Bayon's face appears troubled in the scene, but there he is, all the same, participating with his fellow nobles. He doesnβt like it, yet he tolerates it - and complies with it. Considering his sonβs care for his family, it might be right to presume he goes along with the group because he knows what will happen if he doesnβt (see: Geelanβs fate)
