Reciprocal Recording Puns

5th at Champs 2014 is the highest APAC result I can think of but I'm not too well-versed in CoD history.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

I started this in a comment but it started getting pretty long for a comment, so I’m going to do it as a post. Apologize in advance for the sloppiness and length, but I’ve added a TLDR at the end with important highlights so you can get the key parts.

NOTE: there are 2 parts. Part one was recorded before Blake found out about John. Part two was recorded after.

PART ONE:

Mike and Bryan before Blake comes on:

They talk about the importance of keeping it light/humorous even if an ex is publicly shading you, “when they go low, you go high”. Be a good human, “keep it moving” etc. LOTS of talk about a theoretical ex who keeps talking about you publicly

Blake interview:

Blake: “I’m as good as I can be”. “Whirlwind of emotion up and down”, breakup was the lowest. “Frustration”, “sadness”, felt “foolish”. Trying to focus on what makes him happy but he’s still having downward spirals

Blake: no regrets, but again feeling “foolish” and “embarrassed”. Doesn’t want to talk about it on social media. Here talking about it because he knows he has to at some point. Says he does see “cryptic” Katie posts, doesn’t think she was being “malicious”, but that despite trying to “stir the pot”, she was trying to have fun with her posts. He does not want to add to it and engage, he wants to “extinguish” it

Blake: “it’s draining and it’s exhausting, so I just focus on the wildlife. I don’t necessarily (?) Katie thinks has helped in some degree, with some of the posts, because - but it’s her way of managing that”, “I’m not mad at it”, I’m not going to engage that way online”

Mike: you went for Katie because you like her sense of humor, but now you guys have broken up - (Blake: awkward laugh). Mike says he would’ve handled it differently with her sense of humor.

Blake: if that’s the way Katie wants to handle it, that’s fine. He doesn’t love it, but he doesn’t want to “come at her” for it.

Bryan: what went wrong?

Blake: when they fell in love on the show, it was “fucking awesome”. Distance was a challenge in the real world. Very, very different people aside from their similarities in being bold. It didn’t mesh well when it came to real life. “We would be really, really great best friends but we don’t have what it takes to be lovers in a long lasting relationship”. Became “exhausting”. “Empress!” Said Arduina, kneeling. “I wish to bring charges upon my daughter for assault, attempted matricide, and breach of contract!”

“Grandmother,” Yn’dara retorted softly, sheathing her knife and kneeling as well. “I wish to bring charges against my mother for the assault of my husband-to-be, threats, and unlawful alteration of a verbal contract.”

“Preposterous!” Shouted Arduina. “I was merely removing an uninvited piece of trash from my party, and Yn’dara-“

“SILENCE!” The Empress thundered, her eyes flashing. “The both of you! Seize those three. Contingent two, take witness statements from the crowd, and try to get the party going again.”

“Mother,” said Kamilesh, stepping out of the surrounding crowd and bowing her head. “I witnessed the whole thing, may I join?”

“Only if you can keep a cooler head than these three,” she said in an exasperated tone. “as for you, Sergeant, while I appreciate the ‘son-of-Hele’ act you’ve got going on, would you mind dropping the gun so we can deal with this like civilized women?”

“Shit, sorry,” replied Adam, dropping the magazine from the HS-P9 and tossing it to the side.

“Lovely. To the study,” said the Empress, pointing both her fingers upward as a guard grabbed the arm of each belligerent, striding with a quick pace through the hallways of the massive building.

Minutes later, they arrived in a dimly lit room with a fireplace and sconces on the walls. A large desk sat at a far end, a massive stained glass window behind it. The Empress sat in the large leather-padded chair behind it, kicking her feet up on the desk and groaning loudly that eventually turned into a sigh of frustration.

Adam, Yn’dara, and Arduina were sat in three chairs in front of the desk, a guard standing between each one of them, stock-still and stone-faced.

“Kamilesh, give me your perspective on what happened tonight,” the Empress said, taking her feet off the desk and leaning forward with a sigh.

“Short or long version?” She replied.

“Long version, from when the conversation started.”

“But I have so-“ Arduina started with a whine.

“Save it!” Barked the Empress. “You’ll have your turn to plead your case soon enough, but if you say one more word before I tell you to, I will have my guards gag you. I don’t care that you’re my daughter right now, I have an Empire to run.”

The cowed princess snapped her jaw shut with a snap, nodding quickly as she returned to her silence.

So there have been a lot of stupid theories lately which blatantly misinterpret some very obvious things from the story , and this post can also serve as a reference to any future repeatedly raised questions ( hope so ) instead of it devolving into a flame war as usual , and it could also reduce a lot of repetitive arguments from taking place. I'll be summarizing the relationship between Kiyo and Kei/Honami from the beginning and explaining details/analysing characters , so you can read on if you're interested in some parts that you may have missed on catching. Beware though , wall of text incoming.

Starting with Kei , as we know , their relationship started in V4. Kiyo's original intent for approaching Kei the way he did was out of self-protection instinct. Cause he was being blackmailed by Sae in V3 , forced into helping his class. As a result he devised a plan , painted Ryuen as the target he needs to defeat right after he made his moves in the island exam. He had anticipated that Ryuen would try to probe Horikita in V4 , and the resulting plans were all part of Kiyo's intention to guide Ryuen on the path to collide head on with him in V7 by making Kei as the bait , as he himself said it.

Now for Kei , the reasons behind whatever she did uptil V4 , was so that she could create the image of a strong person to ward off potential bullies from targetting her. She had a trauma from bullying in her middle school , and as that trauma left her vulnerable and unable to do anything against intimidation , it could provide opportunity for other girls to bully her after seeing her like that. In order to prevent that , she donned the bossy/bitch persona , and made sure that she kept all the girls with troublesome personalities close to her. As she herself stated , it didn't matter if others hated her , she didn't need youth or friends as long as she could protect herself. Most of Kei's close friends , as mentioned , were girls who could potentially bully others. She kept them near her so that they don't target her , which could result in her trauma being triggered , leading to her facade falling apart. Their class , in contrast to Ichinose's class , is full of girls with bad personalities like that. She used Hirata as a medium to climb up the hierarchy in order to achieve this.

Then comes V4. Kiyo noticed how her trauma triggered when she was subject to intimidation , and upon further information , set her up for bullying at Manabe's hands. She is left brok

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.

I said "hey look, an escaPEA"

No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!

It really does, I swear!

I married when I was 26. I did not leave at the first sign of a red flag or the second, or even the third. I was strongly attracted to and in love with a man that I would later come to realize had the same narcissistic tendencies as my own father. I wish I had known how suceptible I would be to men like this, because of my upbringing and that I needed counseling to build my self esteem and develop better boundaries.

I went from single to married to my ex husband in 7 months. I believed him when he said his first ex wife was crazy and cheated (and even "pointed a gun at him and laughed"). I thought he was a broken man I could love back to life. I thought he lied because he was insecure and wanted me to be impressed by him and all of his "secret military missions" he told me about when we first started dating. I thought he drank because he was stressed from his job and his bad childhood. I thought he punched walls by my head because he was just a man and the only acceptable emotion for men to feel was anger. I looked at his lovebombing, his compliments and his mirroring and confused it as his love for me. He told me whatever would make me feel the best, which later turned into whatever would make me feel the worst. I didn't believe that he would ever be unfaithful (after all it was poor him who had been "cheated on" and "abused" by his ex wife) and I believed him when he said he was also a Christian.

He left me once after we had two children. I was devastated. Embarrassingly enough, I loved him so much and was so gaslighted that I took him back even when I found out that he had at least one girlfriend (which I now realize was why he left me with a 3 year old and 16 month old). I found out when I pulled his disciplinary records that he had in fact not been suspended from work for two days for me texting him too much, he had been sexting a 19 year old girl he pulled over on a traffic stop while I had a 4 month old and a 2 year old at home.

It went so much deeper than this and there are so many stories I could tell about the lies, infidelity, alcoholism and emotional abuse. He ended up begging me to come back a couple months after he left and me being unable to deal with splitting up my family (having come from a divorced one) and struggling as a Christian woman to feel that divorce was okay (even with biblical grounds). A play on words.

I've written a python script that I have used to generate a CSV file from my Algorand transactions. I think this may be useful to the general Algorand community so I'd like to share it. Requires the requests module to be installed. This may take a little bit of knowledge to work out, but perhaps it'll b faster to figure out than manually editing all your Algo txns.

Main features:
Groups: Compress transaction groups down to 1 or 2 rows. Swap shows as 1 txn, not 4. Algofi txns show as 1, not 14-16 txns.

Tinyman: Algo network fees are part of the swap row. Swap Fees (0.3%) are calculated and shown as a separate row.

Algofi: Records Inner transactions. This will show amounts sent from Algofi to you as part of a borrow txn group for example.

Participation Rewards: Parsed out from the TXNs and shown as a separate row.

Limits and issues:

Some transactions are out of chronological order. This is related to parsing groups and single txns differently while accommodating a reward in the middle of the group. not sure how to fix it without breaking something else at the moment.

Commenting: code could be commented a LOT better. will work on it. just wanted to push a release for people to use/test. I know it's tax filing time in the U.S. so if it can help you, fantastic.

Platform, ID, GroupID columns need more consistency. This was a failure to plan before building on my behalf. Again, can be improved.

dApp Support: Currently supports Yieldly, Tinyman, Algofi. These are the dApps I have been using and able to test with. I haven't touched AlgoGems, AB2, NFT's, ASA Management, or Govenance so the code doesn't currently support these features. They may be added in the future (I'm signed up for G2, I may get into NFT trading at some point). There is some generic group handling that may catch this stuff but I'm just not sure.

I'm an amateur programmer using this as an exorcise in learning API get requests, so it's not pro-grade by any measure. Also, no tax jurisdiction has been considered. This is not a tax report or financial advice or anything else. This is just a tool you can use to help with your own filings. I make no guarantees. This is my first time using Github too.
