There's been some research on when the most recent common ancestor of all humans lived. But what about the earliest non-commom ancestor - i.e. the earliest individual to be an ancestor of *some* modern humans, but not all?

(*common, not commom)

The MRCA is obviously the ancestor of all modern humans. But many of his/her contemporaries will be the ancestor of only a portion of modern humans. So how far back would the earliest individual have lived, who is the direct ancestor of some, but not all humans?

My first guess is that it's about 1.3 million years ago, as Wikipedia mentions that some African hunter gathers show ancestry from an archaic homo species that diverged from what would become modern humans. about 1.3mya. (but maybe millions of years earlier than that, as that archaic species may themselves have had partial ancestry from another hominid, even more distant from us?)

I was once wrote a post about how Jeanne d'arc was the self declared "Maid of Orleans" meaning she could be the most influential Maid in human history but supposedly Jeanne d'arc is also the origin of the Bob haircut making her pivotal to the creation of the modern tomboy archetype

Jeanne D'arc

Popularized being barefoot in the art world and pop culture thanks to artistic depictions of her

The most influential and powerful Maid that ever lived

The foundation of all tomboy Girlfriends

Created the archetype of a Saintly Big Sis, with a hot temper but a heart of Gold, As she's known for her hot takes of writing the meanest letters to her enemies, but when push comes to shove she'd couldn't bring herself to take a life directly, never using her sword even when she was leading the charge

Lean Muscles and Toned

Basically an anime character, having a Flag as her main weapon, Was a war idol before the Macross anime, was the commander of an underdog army with super powers (such as being able to see the future, High Charisma, protection from god), and was a Saint, Self-Made Legend Having come from a humble poor family, Loyal to the very end

Jeanne D'arc being the origin of many waifus traits in modern Japanese pop culture

I'm starting to understand why Japan loves Jeanne d'arc so much
