A list of puns related to "Rancho Penasquitos"
Hello, redditers,
One of my friends looking for travel options between San Diego (Rancho Penasquitos) and Irvine. He received an internship offer in Irvine and has to be in the office 2-3 times a week. One option he found out was Amtrack, but he has to take uber to Amtrack and from Amtrack to work, so for each day it's coming around $130+.
He is also considering traveling once and staying in Airbnb/hotel for 2 nights and coming back, but in Irvine near his work location, the cheapest option is costing around $80 per night.
He doesn't want to relocate as it's just a short-term internship.
Does anyone else know any other travel options? Or any general tips? Also, any tips for saving on Amtrack and uber costs?
Really appreciate any help.
Thanks.
I recently moved to San Diego. And for a change I thought I would go for a jog today so after the work was over I changed and stepped out.
It was dark and people were getting home. I carry a flash light on my hand. At a stop sign I was crossing the road, there were 3 cars stopped waiting for my move. So I proceed to cross the road and this guy in white Lexus at Rancho Penasquito speed in me. I was in middle of the road and I waved my Flash light so he could stop. But this driver picked up speed. I had to literally jumped out of the road to escape collision. I fell on the curb. He sped away. Not sure he was asshole or stressed. There is no way he could miss my flashlight. I mean I could see his face.
Is it usually like this here? People stressed and all? Or was this just my bad luck.
Anyone else lose their power?
Anyone interested in raid in Carmel mountain ranch area, near costco?
My intention was set on Death. We were taken to a canyon where it led us down an empty field where what looks to be something was dragged down. Like if someone dragged something all the way down where out point was. This was a very interesting and strange adventure and it had me feeling weird vibes the whole time. Itโs definitely eye opening and I enjoyed it even with it being strange

I currently live Downtown, but my roommate is moving out. Just out of curiousity I started poking at craigslist and found this:

Basically, an enormous house going for $720 a month. This is the most outragous one, but there appear to be several others of similar size and lows cost. Honestly seems impossible to me, but was just curious what other people thought. Is housing really that cheap in Rancho Penasquitos?
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: Damn, title should say "Is this a scam?"
EDIT2: Ya, response was basically as expected. I figured it wasn't realistic, but just wan't to make sure I wasn't some missing out on some weird quirk in the housing market.
She's a lutino (white/yellow) cockatiel, if you find her bring her indoors and let me know. Also inform me of any Facebook posts of people finding birds please! She's a very beloved family pet, we would really love to have her back.
