A list of puns related to "Ram Racing"
So I had heard some people doing it twice a day and was weird to me since all I heard was 18 hour reset. I just tested logging in a rested area for a little over 9 hours and it reset. I think this is because its not an actual quest (since you dont see the exclamation on the ram guy). Maybe he just puts an invisible debuff that wont allow to to Ram race again until it drops, but similarly to DMF if you log in a rested area 8 hours it drops. Now, that being said, if it actually is an invisible debuff... can it be pushed off for infinite ram races? I dont know what the debuff cap is now in tbc, i know it used to be like 16 in classic for players. If anyone knows what cap is now and thinks this is possible, lmk
Going to try selling these individually instead of as a whole, local is 22042, VA. Doing some spring cleaning, don't use the sim anymore after a few days of use, has been sitting for about a month now. Light use.

This is how I learned to use to mouse in the game really well. Using WASD to turn will make you do a really wide turn, however with the mouse you instantly turn the opposite way. Literally a game changer!
Left mouse button (held down): moves the camera around, this is how you will aim your character.
Right mouse button (held down): steers your character. If you are standing still, you will just spin on the spot. However if you are moving, you will go in whichever direction you move the mouse.
Both buttons (held down): allows you to look and move at the same time
So as you are approaching the guy who tosses the barrel to you, use W to move forward (like your gas pedal), with the left mouse button turn your camera 180Β° so you are looking directly behind your character (have to hold the button down or it will move back to the front). Once the barrel has been tossed, click the right button to instantly flip direction. You can keep the right button down to steer or use the WASD keys.
That probably sounds complicated, but you can practice just while running before you start the race. It works no matter how you are moving (on foot, or on ground, flying, water mounts). Once you get the hang of it, it is really easy and you'll wonder how you ever moved before (keyboard movement tends to be clunky and slow).
Since I have learned this I almost exclusively "drive" my character with W as the gas pedal and the right mouse button as the steering wheel, and left button to make large directional changes or just to look around while moving.
Hope this helps and may the Eternal Sun shine upon thee!
eta: Obviously you don't have to do the ram race to learn this, but because the rams move automatically it forces you to act quickly. Doing it over and over will drill it into your head and also develop muscle memory for using the mouse and keyboard together. And it's fun!
