As is yearly tradition, over the month of December I posted two songs per day in the Daily Discussion threads (one single and one album track (mostly)) that I felt went unnoticed by most people but would potentially be enjoyed, and this is a compilation of those write-ups.

There’s a definite pop focus but I picked these tracks with an ear for diversity of sound/artistry so there’s quite a few different things going on here and some picks that might make you roll your eyes, but I think there’s something for everyone! FFO means “For Fans Of,” it’s a reference point for who I think would like each song.

It seems like everyone is nostalgic for the ‘00s these days but if you were specifically missing those block party busting r&b jams, Joyce Wrice has you covered. She oozes the essence of this era of r&b starlets thanks to her flirty-yet-fiery delivery and the Aaliyah sample (“Rock The Boat”) takes this connection even further, but the charismatic rap verse from Freddie Gibbs has a distinctly more modern feeling that still flows well. One of many stellar tracks on her debut album but it stands out thanks to the pop friendly hooks and crazy replay value.

In tarot the “Wheel Of Fortune” card is supposed to invoke good luck and prosperity and the song really captures that vibe with the bright melody and hopeful lyrics, both of which Riri carries perfectly. The quirky production makes everything even more exciting, it’s got a new jack swing beat but then there’s all sorts of horns and synths and samples layered on top so it’s just brimming with energy while still being perfectly in control.

Since Vanguard follows the same “Get X gun(s) gold in this weapon class”, you only need to get any seven Assault Rifles Gold in order to achieve Diamond for Assault Rifles – so you don’t need to do all of the base weapons, you can do any combination of base weapons and DLC weapons so long as you hit that required Gold count. Naturally this becomes much more flexible as Vanguard ages and adds more DLC weapons, but for now, we have the Cooper Carbine. As such, it is recommended that you pursue the following seven assault rifles for Diamond:

(1) STG44 (2) Automaton (3) Bar (4) AS44 (5) NZ-41 (6) Volkssturmgewehr (7) Cooper Carbine

The ITRA Burst is genuinely terrible and I do not recommend using it.

Section 1: The Cookie Cutter Loadout (Best AR Attachments Analysis)

This is the general set of best attachments that generally work for each Assault Rifle. Meaning, you can transplant this set of attachments onto any Assault Rifle and have a workable build, but some ARs can take certain liberties others cannot, while some ARs require more specialization than others.

About three weeks ago, I said I'd come out with the next tier in a week. Whoops! I'm real sorry it took so long, work has been nailing me ass over tea-kettle for the last couple weeks.

But finally, we have S Tie ready and rarin'!

So here's the tier explanation: S TIER - This tier represents characters that are amazing and perform at a higher level than the rest of the cast, but with maybe a single flaw or drawback. The character's toolkit might be a little harder to understand or make as good as an SS Tier character's.

Remember! This is purely a for-fun tier list based off of research and my own experience. If you have opinions on who should be higher or lower, I would love if you shared them!

S TIER

5. Human Engineer

— One of the most versatile characters in the game. Good, no matter the conditions or situations, the Human Engineer has an extremely adaptable kit. Overload and Incinerate are both incredibly solid in their own right, and are better by virtue of being together.

Overload is an instant ability, no projectile or aiming necessary. It is an incredible answer to synthetics and shields, and very good against regular mooks as well. Spec'd properly, Overload is a decent mid-range CC with Neural Shock. I do want to note on top of that, that Neural Shock will only affect the original target of Overload, not the enemies it arcs to. An extra fun tidbit about Overload, is that it also primes and detonates! So not only is Overload good against shields, but the Tech Bursts it primes are also incredibly effective as well. Which leads me to...

Incinerate! Like what I talked about with the Quarian Engineer, Incinerate is like the tech version of Warp! Primes, detonates, insane damage blah, blah. Blah.

What we can talk about is the Fire Explosion and Tech Bursts that Incinerate primes and detonates! The Human Engineer gets access to something not many other classes get: options.

Most combos a single character can dish are a singular primer and a singular detonator, that are mostly effective against a certain health type. Human Engineer gets access to a Tech Burst and Fire Explosion depending on how they use Overload and Incinerate, meaning they now have a combo for Shields and a combo for Armor! There is never a situation where they are dealing weak damage.

There ARE, however, situations where they don't have ways to protect

Once Wardlow turns on MJF, which is going to happen soon. Can we please get Wardlow and Brian Cage team up and destroy everyone. Make them a newer version of The Mega Powers of the days gone. War-Machine, have there finisher called F.O.A.B. (Cage does a Powerbomb hangs on, ragdoll throws the opponent to Wardlow's F10)

Do a freud with The Pinnacle, tag team matches with FTR. Then do Shawn Spears and MJF. Once they run through them have them run through Team Taz, Hobbs and Starks. Do a cross over Pinnacle and Team Taz in a 4 on 2 Handicap Tag Team match and then have them loses to Hook and MJF. Cause them to implode with a Wardlow vs Machine match, maybe have them go all the way to the tag team championship? If they win that have them compete in a TNT or AEW championship bracket opposite each other?

I love the AEW product and the talent of some of the high flyer tag teams. But I am an old school power house wrestler fan give me power bombs, choke slams, elbow and leg drops all day.

I think that Brian Cage is an under utilised wrestler and he never got to finish his revenge on Team Taz. Wardlow as a lap dog is getting to the point that it just about to boil over.
