I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

With India grappling with the devastating second wave of the virus, the OTT platforms have again started the acquisition of new Hindi titles that are shot and ready. Amazon Prime Video has already begun the trend with Farhan Akhtar's Toofaan and Vidya Balan's Sherni, and we heard Disney+Hotstar is following the race with even more number of acquisitions. Peepingmoon.com has exclusively learned that Disney+Hotstar has bought five Hindi films for its direct-to-web release and is readying a solid slate of feature films for this year.

The films Disney+Hotstar has bought include Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Yami Gautam and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer horror-comedy Bhoot Police, directed by Pavan Kripalani; Priyadarshan's Hungama 2 starring Meezaan Jaffrey, Shilpa Shetty, Pranitha Subhash and Paresh Rawal; Kriti Sanon's Mimi that revolves around the acceptance of surrogacy; Sunny Kaushal, Radhika Madan, Mohit Raina and Diana Penty's love story, Shiddat helmed by Kunal Deshmukh; and Kirti Kulhari and Nivedita Bhattacharya starrer road-trip story, Shaadisthan, directed by debutant Raj Singh Chaudhary. Apart from these films, Disney+Hotstar is also on the verge of acquiring a big Hindi film the details of which have strictly been kept under wraps at this moment!

Do your worst!

I'm surprised it hasn't decade.

The state has many skeletons in its closets and some of them never come to public knowledge because the people behind them are too powerful to be exposed and be treated like common criminals. They are the Gods who run the system and while the system usually does a decent job of running itself, it can never really turn against those Gods sitting on the top, can it?

And its not about India being a third world developing country, this happens almost everywhere. Right from John F Kennedy's murder in the decades past to Jeffery Epstein who apparently performed "suicide" right in the midst of police custody as recently as August 2019, the state has no answers to these questions. Because if it starts probing those answers, the trail might lead to many of the big guys sitting in Washington DC itself!

Coming back to India, our closets aren't quite clean either. From Lal Bahadur Shastri to Pansare to Gauri Lankesh and now recently, Sushant Singh Rajput, their souls will keep on asking these problematic questions throughout the sands of time but will perhaps never get any.

Coming to our particular story and another skeleton in the closet, I came to know about it after watching this youtube video posted by Rachit Kapoor who claims to be the victim's son in law - yes, the very same victim who we are likening to those others wronged by the state.

The story I'm telling here is as narrated by Rachit but I don't see any reason for him to make up such an aggravating tale (except for trying for a career in bollywood!). This story starts back in 1997 when our victim, Mr. Deepak Chaudhary starts working as the chairman of Delhi Stock Exchange (DSE) which is perhaps the same which we refer as National Stock Exchange (NSE) today. Fast forward few years later to 2000 when Deepak Chaudhary along with his wife, Radhika Chaudhary travel to America to get Deepak's long due surgery performed.

Now enters the villain of our story, Mr. Parminder Singh Kalra (who apparently is a top guy at HDFC and such a big shot in Delhi that even the CBI/RBI/EoW/FinMin/etc. cannot touch him!). Parminder was both a colleague and childhood friend of Deepak and used this very trust to backstab him. Parminder called Deepak in USA and tried to convince him to get the surgery done in Delhi itself (since they have friends and relatives here, its your own country, etc.).
