I feel like I’m going crazy but I swear this was something that like, the history channel would be talking about at 1 AM 10 years ago. Some ancient unit of measurement that was used in the pyramids and some other structures by ancient civilizations, and some strangely exact number was decently close to the diameter of Earth. Maybe I am crazy.
It’s undeniable that the last few months there has been an incredible growth in the value and consequent “hype” around cryptocurrency. Now, Bitcoin is still soaring, and new blockchain based ventures such as NFT are popping up every day. Now, let’s not kid ourselves; we are in a bubble, this much is clear. However, some think that, even if this bubble explodes, the blockchain revolution has already started, and cannot be stopped anymore.
Personally, I think it’s just hype talking, especially when talking about Ethereum ( here we can see the revolutionary ethereum... doing what the government is already doing), But I would also like to hear your opinion on the subject, especially if done trough a more socialist lens.
Back in the late 1980's in my area on Long Island a craze erupted and spread one summer. People were having straight-up pyramid parties at their houses. Through mostly word of mouth, people started meeting up and doing strictly cash pyramids, no stupid products or sales. You contributed $1500 to enter the bottom of the pyramid and you collected $13,500 when you exited at the top. Friends I knew would sometimes go through two pyramids in one night, walking out with over $25k. There would be numerous pyramids, sometimes running simultaneously at the parties. If the pyramid didn't finish thst night, it would be carried to the next party. A good friend told me he had a party at his house and like 50-60 people (mostly strangers) showed up. Eventually it all fell apart and the police and DA got involved. At least they were honest, it was a straight-up pyramid scheme.
Perhaps the Traveler was originally part of the darkness and chose to break off?
Was it built or born by the same entity as the Pyramids?
Is there no correlation between them other then the Traveler being hunted?
Not sure if this was asked already but what are your thoughts on this?

If so, how did the 'meter' unit come into being in those ancient times? That too is a mystery. Again, for the Red Pyramid, the value of the two lengths on its sides is 3.14 or 22/7. This is the ‘Pi’ value in general mathematics. That is, the Greek simple ‘Pi’ stands for 22/7. The circumference of a circle is 2 x (Pi) x (radius).

Example: - The sum of the heights of the two sides of the Great Pyramid is 314.16 when the height of the pyramid is subtracted. This is a multiple of ‘Pi’.
It is not yet clear why these massive structures were given such geometric values. These geometric mathematical parameters have been used not only for the pyramids in Egypt, but in all other places mentioned in the article above, and it seems that people who use the same type of theory have done these things. We assume for a moment that the above calculations are simply random. Let us now look at another calculation.
Draw a circle between the four legs at the base of the Great Pyramid. That is, the circle touches the center of all the feet at the equilibrium base of the pyramid. Suppose the length of that circle is x. Now, we draw another circle, then the four corners of this parallel base touch each other and its length can be taken as y. Now the size of [y-x] is 299. 792458 m. What do you think this value is?

This may have been proposed before but in case it hasn't here's my theory:
I was reading u/QuantumVexation's post about cellular automata's and shapes (really good btw).
From this post I want to focus on how there are patterns in this game that are perpetual and create an infinite number of gliders (probably there are patterns that create other shapes but some lore entries talk about the gliders specifically) and other patterns so complex that it could within itself play other games .
I think the pyramids are the equivalent of the gliders and the darkess is a much bigger shape somewhere else in the universe, similar to the upper left shape of Gospers glider gun pattern, it is self sustaining and capable of creating infinetely many pyramids. Maybe the darkness's shape is still evolving and getting bigger every day it passes but in essence it's this. Also, both gliders and pyramids are "pointy" if that makes any sense.
On the other hand, the bomb logic is about something else entirely, about finding a pattern so complex that is capable of creating their own rules. This leads me to belive the traveller is no glider but the pattern itself, one that the light hasn't figured out yet and it's still incomplete on the inside.
The only specific page across all of NBA.com that the website instructs (through its robot.txt page here) search engines to exclude in query results is this Phoenix Suns page related to a former (?) partnership the team had with Verve/Vemma, which was sued and shut down by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission for being a pyramid scheme. Why (and why is the page still there)?

NBA.com’s robot.txt page requests that no search engine bots/web crawlers visit/index general NBA/team node and user pages and for some reason requests the web crawler “VegeBot” not visit/index sitemap pages.
That all seems normal (to me, at least—I could totally be wrong) and everything is equal across all teams/the website.
The only non-general page the website doesn’t want bots to access is this very specific one Phoenix Suns page about “Verve Lounge requests,” which leads to this post’s question:
What was and/or still is the reasoning for the Suns/NBA.com to do this (and why is the page still there if they don’t want it accessed?)?
I’m guessing this is nothing—I’m not suggesting some big conspiracy theory or accusing the Suns/NBA of anything here (it would be dumb to leave something intended to be hidden on a robot.txt page since they’re publicly accessible)—I’m just curious because I thought it looked strange and I’m guessing someone a lot more knowledgeable about this stuff than I am would have a better guess.

I don’t know how this happened, but I found out about the extent of it last night. I get to see my AP tomorrow night for a few hours, so that’s basically the only thing besides my kids that are making me happy right now.
I found that the result of the division between width and height of a Lego brick is an approximation of the Golden Ratio and if you create a Lego pyramid the angle between the base and the faces of the solid is 52 °, the same angle of the Cheope pyramid.
Now you could say that this angle is just a random number, but the Egyptians to understand what was the perfect angle for the construction of the pyramid dropped a pile of sand, and measured its natural inclination.
I think it isn't just a coincidence, if someone read about it before tell me if i am wrong.
Was browsing through YouTube and got to the Gambit theme from the Forsaken OST. As one guy in the comments, Captain N'keln, points out, the three tone sound (at 2:29 in the song, as well as a couple other times) is the same as the three tones from the pyramid shop scene. Is this just a general musical theme for mysterious stuff, because of the drifter's hazy background, or is there somehow a connection between the Derelict and those ships?

Looking for a movie which I saw about 35 years ago (rough estimate).
As far as I can remember, it was a American movie. The story took place in some desert-y state, maybe Nevada. The only plot device I can remember is a pyramid which was able to shrink from about 2 meters height (large enough for a man or boy to enter) down to pocket size.
Any hints would be wildly appreciated.

A few details:
The only thing you need to be able to work for them is a vehicle and a pulse
(I get shivers, as luckily Greece fronws upon such practices common in America, and they are becoming a trend latelydue to uneployment and foreign investors buying land and companies for pennies)
During the unpaid 1 week training program where they teach you the product you are suppose to sell (while constantly mentioning you dont need to bring your own clients) they create a bunch of fake events for the trainees to witness
It can be happy co-workers and enviroment, someone selling a bunch of cleaners, people advancing through the ranks etc
After that period you are incentivized (with money to pay for gas) to bring at least 10 family and friends to showcase the product (and hopefully sell)
You kinda have to convince em to give you more contacts

New to Destiny Lore, so forgive me if this is already busted or covered. I'm just listing correlations and such that I've noticed.
The Nine often have a symbol of triangles and circles. The circles could be the Traveler with the triangles being, well, the Pyramids, though usually upside-down.
As we see with the Nightmares across the system, the Pyramid can cause great affects to occur even outside of its general radius, such as the things the Nine have done like blocking satellites.
The Nine warned the Drifter that more pyramids were coming. How could they know this? The Nine only have power and eyes in this system, as far as I know. But if the Pyramid IS the Nine, playing a ruse of sorts, it could be aware of the others coming as we see at the end of Shadowkeep.
In the Reckoning, a trial held by the Nine, we get to fight the likeness of Oryx. This appears to be a prototype or precursor of the Nightmares we face in Shadowkeep, like the Likeness of Crota or Ghaul.
Overall it seems like the Nine and our Pyramid are greatly connected, and if I were to guess I'd say the Pyramid is pretending to be the Nine, like a puppet master.
I am looking for any documentation or evidence related to the use of tetrahedral blocks used for torture, specifically forcing the victim to walk, stand or lie on them.
I remember someone presenting the fact that dice, specifically the tetrahedral ones, are explicitly mentioned in the geneva convention as being part of a practice that fell under the category of torture.
I recall asking for evidence of this claim and they did show me something, it was not part of the geneva convention, and it did not refer to them as dice but something like "triangular wooden blocks" but I do recall it being from a reputable source.
