Ordered a Kuying Teton Ttc662l and a Fishband PW100 on a recommendation from another sub. Initially I was going to do a ultralight spinning combo but got talked into BFS! It's been on my radar for a few months but looked either super pricey or a little sketch with the Ali express ordering. Rolled the dice on recommendations from others. Hopefully I did well. Looking forward to throwing so tiny Keitechs, Ned rigs, and hopefully some tiny little mule jigs.
How'd I do on the parts pick? Anything must have besides line I should grab? Looking at braid vs floro currently and then into some tiny lures.
Hey guys, I have one of the upgraded Fishband PW100 reels with the pink handles coming that I’m looking to replace along with a couple others. Is there a rule of thumb with determining what size handles various manufacturers use? Especially the ones coming out of China as the documentation is usually lacking. I’m sure I could find info on a Shimano in seconds... Thanks for any info!
I'm looking to replace my wacom now that it's died. I used it mostly with a slim pen and do not like thick pens, my hand is tiny. I would prefer to get a huion since they seem to have less problems than xp-pen using krita from what I've seen, but they don't seem to offer a slimmer pen.
Does anybody know if the pen is slimmer/thicker or the same as the wacom one (I have an old intuos pro equivalent). Can anybody take a pic next to a ruler? Or can anybody confirm if the rubber looks removable (without taking the pen completely apart) like this site shows? Thanks
Edit: Also does the tilt work well? I use the tilt feature a lot in krita.
I have recently been using an old Huion H610 that a friend gave me, I used to have a P68 pen, the one that comes with it, but it broke So I had to buy another one.
I was researching and I found this one, the Pw100 battery free and it seemed to be compatible with my drawing tablet, so I bought it this monday and it came home today.
Thing is, it's so different from the old one as it is battery free, I don't know how even, activate it or anything, can anybody please help me?

Hey, I was wondering if any of you guys might be able to help me with a problem that I'm facing. Long story short, I was drawing earlier today and I put down my tablet for maybe an hour and a half to an hour, and then next thing I know, when I come back to get back to drawing, the tablet is acting weird.
Basically, the tablet itself is having trouble registering the stylus for some reason, and at first I thought that the tablet itself was the problem, but after messing around more with the stylus, tablet settings, and drivers, I've come to the conclusion that the problem is with the stylus itself.
Basically, what would happen is I would try to draw something, and my cursor would remain either in place, or there would be a very spotty connection causing there to be a lot breaks in the line. And to make things even weirder, I thought that maybe the nib was the problem at one point so I tried both swapping it out and moving it around, and it turns out that if it's rotated a certain way, the line suddenly starts registering, but for whatever reason, it just can't stop drawing the line. The tablet picks it up fine in this position, and that's what led me to the conclusion that my stylus has a problem.
Since I'm no good with electronics and tech support, I was wondering if maybe one of you could try to walk me through what I should do. I can't get a replacement until much later than I need it, so I would like to get this done ASAP. Cheers!
So I have been using H950P tablet for about 1.5 years and today suddenly front button stopped working. I didn't mind at first cuz it has happened a couple of times and eventually starts working again. But it got worse. Now not only both buttons does not work but they completely stop the pointer and make it stuck for couple of seconds. And the pen glitches even if i don't use the buttons (though not as much). I tried to fix it. I searched the web and tried some fixes (restarting, uninstalling and reinstalling driver, etc.) Now the wierd part is if take of the buttons (the plastic part) it works fine but if i touch the buttons or the space between them (where the plastic part fits) it starts glitching again. Can anyone explain why this is happening and/or provide a solution ? Thanks in advance.
So, couple months ago, my pen started doing this weird thing, that it worked only in one position, if i moved it slightly off center, the tablet wouldn't recognize the pen, today, i tried to disassemble it.
Followed this image "tutorial", and found out, that one of the cables connecting the coil to the rest of the pen was disconnected, so I soldered it back in place and it worked like a charm.
So guys/girls, if your pen stops working, and you don't have the money to buy another one(poor collage students like me) try to fix it yourself, it's actually quite easy, there are like 5 parts to it.
And pro tip: please don't lose the spring...
since the pen have pretty similar design and spec.i'm curious if pairing pw100 pen (for Hxxxp series) working on kamvas monitor tablet ?
a seller once said that it's working... but some official sites said not .. maybe anyone have tried it ?

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
