>Secret documents reveal the German secret service (BND) was illegally shipping arms to military ruled-Myanmar in 2008, among others. This was when western countries were pressurizing India to cut back ties.
>Tanks were shipped from a secret port in Ukraine and received by Myanmar military in spite of a EU arms embargo in place. Interestingly, Thein Sein decided to first visit Germany when he traveled to Europe in 2014.

>More interestingly, charges could be pressed under the EU embargo only if the arms were received by private individuals (!) and not if received on behalf of someone for e.g a military!
>Reports by @hrw claimed western countries (saviors) imposed 'targeted sanctions' while other including India (demons) supported the murderous regime for trade (cheapos!). Well the joke is on useful idiots.

Since covid has started, I have watched (and owned) PVH as I always have believed in the company although I have been burned several times during earnings. This discussion will have nothing to do with fundamentals and is simply noting some consumer trends that I have noticed over the past years/months.
I will jump right into it. I will reiterate, I have watched this stock since 2017 and throughout that year and until about 2018 I saw the stock as overvalued. Once covid happened though, I have noticed that the stock has done increasingly well and has blown past earnings at a modest pace. What does intrigue me the most is how much I have noticed the calvin klein brand being worn by more people besides the underwear (their biggest niche in my opinion for years.) I have seen many people wearing more and more calvin klein shirts and hoodies.
I also have noticed that the signature hilfiger is more common and I have been noticing more of that brand as well. I have seen many people that I know as well as strangers wearing the signature colors and brands that PVH owns.
I obviously do not base my investment purely on this. My investment choice is definitely reinforced by these trends, but I'm wondering opinions on if this is an online shopping covid tailwind, or if this is the start of a more realized clothing trend. (Hard to gauge.)
In late 2018, (off top of my head) I had owned calls for PVH (no shares) and remember getting burned when the price dropped from ~160 to about 120ish relatively quickly. I'm wondering the opinions of shareholders about the current stock price, and if they would consider selling. I have been in PVH since around June and have an average price of about $54 and have averaged up/trimmed down over the time period.
I am actually quite bullish still based on my knowledge of the stock based on earnings and how much I've personally seen the calvin klein brand grow from a consumer standpoint. Any input and any points of view would be appreciated. I understand the stock is at a decent premium, and I know clothing trends change quickly, but I believe there are many aspects to this business that may see it grow on the short/medium term.
Hey all, with PVH earnings today, I'm wondering if It would be worth taking some profits or holding through earnings. I feel as if PVH has never fared well through bad earnings calls and was wondering what the sentiment would be on this ticker.
