A tribute to the DoubleCa5t series of the same name. Went over pretty well on tumblr so I'm posting it here too.
A couple notes: AntiCrack-kun was a particularly infamous doujin translator largely active in the mid-2010s who fervently believed that anyone who shipped anything other MadoHomu and KyouSaya was some kind of degenerate who treated the girls as trash by disregarding their canonical feelings, and would go out of his way to harass and insult anyone who disagreed. Unfortunately, he also secured the translation rights to a number of popular doujins, so there are a lot of KyouSaya works out there that abruptly end with his bizarre manifesto.
Persephone's Waltz was a popular fic in which Homura decides to just kidnap Madoka and lock her in a basement until Walpurgisnacht had passed, notable for its realistic take on captivity and Stockholm Syndrome. It also gathered a fair bit of infamy for a couple of controversial creative decisions (oh, the meltdowns were incredible!), but I still like it, in part because it is really well written, and also in part because I made friends with the author soon after.
Also note that this is 100% in good fun, so don't take any teasing or risque jokes too seriously.

I'm blown away. I've never been a fan of the magical girl genre. Going into the show all I had heard was that it was dark and a breakdown of the genre so I decided I would give it a shot, and I'm so happy I did. The writing is genius, the visuals are so abnormal and beautiful. It was like liquid depression that I couldn't get enough of, I immediately watched Rebellion after finishing the show. It has taken a firm spot in my top 5 anime. How did you guys feel about it? I never see people talking about it and i'd love to hear others opinions on it
