A claim of unclassifiable veracity is circulating regarding the apparent discontinuation of Profumo. I really hope this isn't true and at this point all we have left is guesswork and anecdote but as it seems right now it is still available on the Armani website while retailers like Macy's seem to not have it. Nonetheless with the newer Profondo out, how do we think it compares, better or nah?

I bought a bottle of this great scent, then received one as a gift. I’m mostly looking to trade and I am down for any offers, could be a bottle of a comparable value, a group of cheapies, a half full niche, anything that you might like to trade. Bottle is new and unopened as these pictures suggest. If you’re looking to buy, I’m looking for $80 shipped.
I figure if i do like 1 spray of drakkar noir and maybe 3 sprays of adg i might end up with something a bit like sauvage elixir. I know adg doesn't quite have the same "bite" that the sauvage line has (whatever that note may be, i assume a synthetic note) i also have some vercace eau fraiche which may go well in the mix.
Thought it might be interesting to do a dn/ armani eau de cedre layer since they're both woodsy. The eau de cedre would add some sweetness too.
Might be funny to mix cool water and dn together to get the ultimate vintage mix haha...
Thought about spicebomb too but i'm a little iffy on that one. Never know tho, could be great.

I love both Profumo and Essenza; Profumo more, though. So I've been curious about Profondo since quite a few months now. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to try it anywhere. So, people who have all three, where do you put Profondo in the entire lineup? How is it compared to the other flankers? Which one is your favorite and which one do you like the least?
