A list of puns related to "Product Life Cycle Management"
Is there a career path in reg affairs (such as in a regulatory body like the FDA, or a registrations/licences department of a major pharma firm) for dudes like me with a statistics background? I've looked at some positions at my local regulatory body, but all the interesting positions need someone with a PharmD or M.D., and lower level positions "require" a natural sciences background.
When you use RHEL, you get the benefit of RH Satellite for patch life cycle management (ie, create a patch baseline, then move it through dev, test, stage, prod).
What are those who use Rocky in large environments doing for large scale management and patch life cycle management?
Hey everyone,
I'm a junior mech eng student and former machinist. I'm just curious if anyone had any good resources for high-end engine components. The info could be detailed or general. I'm looking to do a little project here on my break where I create an entire manufacturing plan for a critical engine component. Any place ya'll could point me would be great. Thanks!
Like many of you, nagbabalak din ako magshift completely into Tech, namely product design. Galing akong Advertising ahensya life & that alone provides so much context. And I can relate so hard in the adjustment pains & confusions of career shifting.
Gusto ko lang i-share kasi super serendipitous itong platform - ADPList.org - especially now Iβm planning my transition (member ng waiting for 13th month pay before I flee the coop club). And before anything - this platform is completely FREE. Nakita ko to sa LinkedIn ~5 mos ago & since then itβs been so critical in my career shift planning.
ADPList.org is a platform na nagcconnect ng tech people from startups, big tech FAANG (Netflix, Spotify, Google etc.), and essentially various companies across the world to mentor people like us through video calls. Itβs completely FREE. Since then Iβve been speaking with designers from Silicon Valley at nagpapa-portfolio critique ako, nagtatanong about salary negotiation, interview prep, resume building, and all around career advice. The platform is also built to find mentors by topic (career shift, salary negotiation, leadership etc.). Itβs so refreshing kasi may liberty ka to get perspectives from different people in the industry lalo na if hindi afford ang paid career coaches. I canβt stress how god sent this platform is for everyone whoβs in doubt or confused in navigating career and tech.
So ayon - hopefully ADPList will be helpful to you as it is to me! May we all land in the roles we want to be in π

Is it still safe, secure, advisable to use versions of FortiOS and FortiClient when they have passed EOS date? I am trying to determine if I can trust a service provider whos service runs FortiOS 5.2.x and supplies users with FortiClient 5.4.x. These products are as far as I can see well beyond EOS. But the service provider says they are still receiving updates for FortiOS at this version and so they deem it to be perfectly appropriate and secure to use. An obvious problem is that, if I understand correctly, this version of FortiClient is unable to verify the current certificate in use. I don't have all the details but this is my understanding of the situation at the moment. Appreciate any input on any of this.
Nice!!
I'm making a game about forest management. The idea is that it's like sim city but instead of tearing down trees to make way for cities - you're building up a forest with biodiversity and ecosystem management in mind - an ANTI-citybuilding game. There won't really be many man-made systems, you play the role of the environment, controlling weather and fire, etc.
Some main features I have implemented are:
Planned features:
More in-depth animal food chain (hawks, wolves, etc.)
Plant disease (e.g. Dutch Elm)
What I'm looking for:
Ideas for how different species of trees interact
What do you feel the general public should know about forests that they probably don't?
What positive impact do deer population have? It seems like they are more of a pest for a healthy forest than a benefit - am I wrong about that?
I would love to have a real-life foresty partner to help with accuracy and/or gameplay design. I have linked the trailer below - I hope to have the game come out on Steam (a popular PC gaming store) this Fall or early next year. Or, if you just want to play it when it comes out, go ahead and wishlist it on Steam.
