A list of puns related to "Princess Bari"
No official announcement had been made about a course change, and only those who needed to know were made aware. As the Bari approached the origin of this mysterious signal though anyone with access to a porthole could see something strange was going on.
A report was compiled for the Royal Court. It summarised the situation as below:
A file was uploaded to the internal network, a single page showing the drop in ship wide efficiencies cause by passenger participation in the Bari's new TV show. The file was naturally caught before being made public, by network personnel, but unfortunately hard copies have been plastered on walls and corridors at various high traffic junctions of the ship.
Initial reaction by passengers has been surprisingly muted. They are content with the show, and so what if a little efficiency is sacrificed for that. Reaction at the higher levels of the ship's bureaucracy however are fraught. Increasing resources are being used to try and identify the individual(s) responsible. Whether to impress the Royal Court or to protect the ship from an internal threat, network bandwidth is becoming clogged with high level staff spending non-working hours filtering through private communication logs, surveillance footage, audio point recordings.
Network bandwidth is stretched to it's limit and if pushed any further internal systems may be at risk.
Korean legends tell of a prehistoric woman named Princess Bari. You may find her story through out all of Korea (except that renegade Jeju Island), and it is one of hardship, dutiful family followings, and strength in the face of adversity.
Though there are multiple accounts, they all have the same broad concept: Princess Bari's birth is heralded by odd dreams and slight fevers by her mother, a queen. Her father, a king, believes this means he will finally have a son after already having six daughters. However, upon discovering that Bari is born a girl, he angrily demands that she be cast out from the castle to fend for herself... as a newborn. Fortunately, she is found by some caregiving entity who raises her to become a competent and intelligent young woman. As the years go on, Princess Bari finds that her parents are dying due to some rare sickness and no one knows how to help. Sensing a chance to bridge this emotional gap between her family, she takes it upon herself to make a dangerous trip to the Western Heaven to retrieve a vial of healing waters. Along the way her skills, intelligence, and common sense is tested by creatures and mortals alike. But despite these problems, she secures what they came for and she finally goes back home to save her family. After saving the life of her parents and making them realize the error of their ways, she is accepted back into the castle and takes her place among her parents and six sisters.
Touching story, no?
Now, replace the Princess Bari's human form with a ship, the Western Heaven with an uninhabited island, 'healing waters' for rare metals ripped out from the ground, 'dying parents' with a stagnant economy back on Earth, and suddenly you have updated the story for 2065.
Either way, this mythological narrative was not lost on the Directors. Despite their logical and ever efficient mindsets, they could not help but marvel at the gorgeous island they landed on. Their initial planetary scan did not lie to them: this place was something from mythology.
There were no lakes or running waterfalls or snow-white beaches. The lands themselves actually looked very plain to the general public. The only notable geologic aspect were the rolling coastal hills which eventually turned into valleys and mountains further inland. It looked a bit harsh, all in all. Even the [coast](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/fc/%EC%A0%9C%EC%A3%BC_%EC%A4%91%EB%AC%B8%EB%8C%80%ED%8F%AC%ED%95%B4%EC%95%88%EC%A3%BC%EC%83%
... keep reading on reddit β‘The Princess Bari is a thronging mass of Korean people and Korean culture. This proved to be both a blessing and a curse. Over the first year of the journey small issues had cropped up but were easily smoothed over by either engineering teams or social intervention. A bigger problem had begun to simmer under the surface though, a problem that was easy to miss unless you had a very particular skill set.
It all started with Storage 5. The first year had depleted resources at expected rates, a point of pride for the crew member responsible for the projections and a point of efficiency the leadership trot out whenever their sage decision making is questioned. The one thing that hadn't been projected though was the space these resources would leave behind once depleted.
Many from the Korean Republic understood the value of space, from the humble farmer to the mighty real estate mogul. This new space offered an opportunity, but the thick social webs that had spread over the ship meant that everyone had an opinion, and if there was one thing the espionage arm of the Republic was good at it was manipulating opinion.
The members of Korea's clandestine services had very little to do on board the Princess Bari but the devil makes work for idle hands. It's not clear who it started with but a bored spy, or a group of bored spies started turning the civilians to support a new recreational space. It was something to do, something to keep those skills of manipulation and influence rusty. However as popularity of the idea began to rise a new idea emerged, supported by a different group of spies, perhaps bored as well, or perhaps seeing a potential challenge and opportunity to prove their worth against the others. This continued with more and more factions being carved out of the civilian population, all divided on what should be done with this space. Some wanted recreation space, some new housing, some a research lab, some an aquaculture unit for fish. As the number of faction grew so did the animosity held between them and as spies carried on doing what spies do this new space became a flashpoint for conversation.
As the influence machines started to turn and the puppet strings were pulled taught, the opinion on what to do suddenly meant something about your commitment to the Korean Republic. Wanting certain things meant you were a miscreant. Wanting others? Degenerate. Spies being spies has created an invidious situation which now risked social cohesion. The leade

There were plenty of phrases people used to refer to them: 'the council', 'the overseers', 'the Primes', and other pretentious names that never quite stuck. However, there was one specific name that everyone used originally in sarcasm but now in earnest.
Despite the lack of monarchial backgrounds or hereditary lineage, the 5 group of people commanding the lives and fate of everyone on board became known as the 'Royal Court' as an homage to the spacecraft's name. Who else could dutifully ensure the survival of the Princess Bari than a dedicated group of court members?
It is also worth mentioning that they lack the specific fanfare and opulence normally associated with such a 'regal council'. Even though most of the 5 came from wealthy backgrounds, the average Korean citizen would experience difficulty trying pointing them out in a crowd. Even their meeting room was, at first glance, no different than any other meeting in the Princess Bari and it was surprisingly well-lit for how 'secretive' the Royal Court carried itself. There were no masks, no flowing robes, and no secret symbols: there were just 5 average looking people who made decisions in a room.
Perhaps that is what made them so dangerous and efficient in their responsibilities. They the 5 went about their day, observing the operations of the ship and the reports by all ongoing programs, and no one particularly paid attention to them. And it's not even that the Royal Court hid in the shadows or made a point of making themselves hidden. They were simply that inconspicuous. One moment, a supervisor made a minor mistake they thought no one noticed during an engineering project... and then the next day they received a detailed report about the mistake that caused their sudden demotion.
This is what drove fear into the hearts of the Korean people aboard the spaceship. What if the person next to you was a part of the Royal Court or one of their many eyes and ears? What if they were watching you right now? No one knew how many people reported to the Royal Council, much less what the Royal Council actually looked like. And though their meeting room was not hidden... it wasn't labeled either. Of the various unassuming meeting rooms, no one knew which one belonged to the Royal Court.
The Princess Bari had an unofficial hierarchy of workers who reported to leaders who, in t

Currently unlocked up till w11, I am very fond of the 2 princesses.
Aisha is an exceptionally inspiring leader, she commands respect and adulation from people. She also has a noble heart.
Lil princess is such a sweet little thing I can't help but pet her head everytime I get back to HH, even her future self still retains this sweetness, as she stalks follows you around at the beginning of w10, jumping out from the shadows to help you when you are engaged in battles only to run off again without saying a word.
What about you guys?
Edit: Did a w11 side quest, I'm adding one more. Lana :*(
Do your worst!
It really does, I swear!
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π

This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
