This is just some interesting trivia I came across. It's kind of interesting to see how bad some Eastern conference teams were over the years but I didn't expect it to be this bad.
As the title mentions, the Eastern Conference (known as the Prince of Wales Conference back in the days) had the team with the fewest points the last 29 out of 37 years, including this season because there is absolutely no way is Detroit not finishing as the worst team this year. Please don't try to predict otherwise: it's just not productive.
If you look at the list of worst teams, you'll find that the Eastern Conference was especially hurt by strings of epic Buffalo, Ottawa, Tampa Bay, Quebec, and Pittsburgh suckitude. I think the easy answer to why the Eastern Conference had teams that sucked so much was because, well, the Eastern Conference has overall been a much stronger conference over the years and terrible teams in that conference had to play much stronger teams more frequently. But I could be wrong. Let me know!

Hey! If any of y’all are ever at Shoppers drug mart and McDonald’s plaza on price of Wales /Meadowlands, just know that the bald guy outside the store asking for change doesn’t need it. I work in that plaza and he 1. Stole from the store and 2. Has gotten into his vehicle and driven to and from the plaza on multiple occasions. Just so y’all know because it seems like people frequently give him change because they don’t know better.
