A list of puns related to "Preliminary Reference Earth Model"
I am not talking about the old Geocentric model where earth is at the center of the solar system. I am talking about the current solar model as we know it but instead of using the sun as stationary frame of reference, it uses earth.
I know I should have posted it in askscience but spam filter deleted it and admins aren't very responsive

Defense Metals have announced the results of its Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) and updated mineral resource estimate for the development of its Wicheeda Rare Earth Element (REE) deposit located in British Columbia, Canada.
Financials:
Mineral Resources Estimate:
Craig Taylor, CEO of Defense Metals, stated: "We are pleased to have delivered a positive PEA for the Wicheeda REE Project that has the potential to be one of the top REE projects in the world. The Wicheeda Project demonstrates robust economics and relatively low initial CAPEX via a staged development scenario that provides the flexibility to capitalize on forecast REE demand pressure."
The Wicheeda deposit will be mined as a conventional open pit operation. In-pit haulage for both mill feed and waste will be by 65 tonne haulage trucks. Mill feed will be mined in six-metre benches and hauled to the crusher close to the pit rim. Crushed mill feed will be conveyed to the flotation mill.
Waste rock will be mined and hauled to an on-site rock storage facility as well as to the tailings storage facility (TSF) for embankment construction.

I didn't realize how fucking cool women are.
All the female role models I had were defined by being either a wife or a mother. They were unhappy. They were part of a religion that defined them as being inferior to their male counterparts. Most of them didn't really have agency. They were servants. (I mean, literally. My relatives have this story of my brother throwing a bowl of cereal on the ground, and my father then telling me [a two year old] to clean it up, and justifying it to my relatives by saying, "She's a girl. She loves cleaning.")
And the non-christian female role-models I had were framed to me as sinners, sluts, or failures. So even when I did see women living their lives as their true selves and being happy, they were either demeaned or sexualized. They were seen as objects instead of servants. But in either case, they were never people.
All the books I read growing up were misogynistic, too. Mostly weird Christian fantasy novels, or just regular old fantasy novels. So even in the fictional world, women only served the purpose of helping men get what they want (or, being what the men want). Women were always the secondary characters. Any books that I did read that were female-centric were mocked for being girly - and in school, were considered a lower reading level, so I was told I was "too smart" for them. (I could go on and on about my shame around liking anything "girly" because of how ruthlessly I was mocked for showing interest in them as a child.)
And I just didn't have any preconceptions about trans people. I didn't even know what trans people were until a couple months before I came out because I was so sheltered. I had an entire childhood's worth of shame and baggage around being a woman, and I had all these ideas about women being inferior to men... so trans people (to me) were this entirely free class of individuals who, of course, faced discrimination, but were really undefined.
If I was going to stay a woman, my path was already defined. I was either going to be worthless, or I was going to tie my entire self to a man. And either way I was going to be a sex object, whether or not I wanted to be. I thought I could be anything if I was trans, because either the bar society had set was so low, or I just didn't perceive it.
But now as an adult living in a community of really cool women with hobbies and interests and careers - women who are just really doing their own thing - I'm realizing that being a woman doesn't mean follow
