Hey fellow boarders,
I'm planning on doing a trip to Chile to go snowboarding in August. I'm eyeing Portillo, although not opposed to other resorts depending on logistics. Either way, I'm struggling to find a place to stay with access to the resort. Staying at the resort hotels is absolutely ridiculously priced. I suppose I could stay ~an hour away from the city and rent a car, but I haven't looked at that plan and I don't necessarily want to be responsible for it in the snow. Does anyone have any advice from trips they've taken?? Let me know!
I only found the top-3 results for every competition + the results of the Brazilians (who were without their top woman, Bruna Moura, who stayed training at home instead of competing in poor conditions, with poor facilities and poor rifles, which would basically only mean losing valuable training time ahead of the Olympics).

i am taking my brand-new burton joystick 159W w/ cartel bindings on its maiden voyage, as well as a dakine heli-pro pack w/ strapped avvy shovel for a day or two of off-piste kicker building. depending on the weather / snow, i may even get to take a chopper WAY out into the pow for a day of pure backcountry epicness.
