Just wanted to make sure that everyone remembers Pioneer Courthouse Square was crowdfunded by citizens. The downtown real estate and retail mafia wanted it kept a parking lot, but didn't bring on their muscle because they scoffed at the idea it could be crowd funded. Carmen McCrae sang in the ruins of the parking lot at the victory party.
