I seriously cannot BELIEVE people are actually defending her?
After her tweet, she still is the Dean of Howard and I am praying Fogelman and others write her character off the show as soon as possible because I and many others seriously won't watch the next season, not to forget the show will be ruined.
And those who are supporting her- you are enablers as well. There is enough proof Cosby did all those crimes to 60+ women, he himself had admitted them and shows no remorse. So do not come with the entire 'he is her old friend' shit. She is an enabler and her great acting skills has got nothing to do with her ethics and morals.
So Phylicia Rashad, who plays Bethβs mum, has been nominated for guest actress in a drama series at the 2022 Emmys. Do you think that decision would have been made before her comments around Bill Cosby? Iβm rooting for This Is Us to win as many Emmys as it deserves but I canβt say I condone a major awards ceremony nominating Rashad, especially so many other talented guest actresses from this is us were worthy of being nominated.
Not exactly the best apology but at least she didn't make excuses. But at the same time she just said her tweet "caused so much hurt in so many people - both broadly and inside the Howard community" so I don't see her actually seeing the problem- that is, Bill Cosby is a rapist and not a victim as she believed?

I know yall saw the tweet she put out, and Howard University where she works has came out and even Janet Hurbert (the first Aunt Viv) blasted Phylicia saying she knows five women who Bill raped. so what do you all think about this?
Me personally while Phylicia can support her good friend I do think she should have done what the other Cosby Show actors done and just kept quiet and keep her opinions to herself. Now having said that I am not feeling Janet response cause if you knew there were five women who Bill abused then you should have came out when others were coming out . I dont respect that she came out about this just to get back at Phylicia . But thats just my thoughts
She is still my favorite TV mom. And although as Beth's mom she comes across as stern and judgmental I still feel like she could walk into a just about anyone's home and start giving directions and we'd all just be like "Yes, Mrs. Huxtable."
