A list of puns related to "Phoenix Wright Character Name"
Spoilers for the first Ace Attorney Game
Phoenix Wright - Pointing. Despite being his most iconic sprite, it was not easy to choose. All of Phoenix's sprites are great. The strong pose and large hand make this one especially pop out.
Miles Edgeworth - Confident laugh, shrugging. They say body language means more than words, and this one is saying "Haha, you silly ninconpoop, let me show you the flaws in your logic."
Mia Fey - "I feel a migraine coming on...". Mia's sprites are all great but I love her absolute look of concern here. She like 'damn, we really doing this bro?'
Maya Fey - 'Square Up' pose. This sprite looks like you just stole a burger from under her nose, and she is squaring up to fight you for real.
Marvin Grossberg - Concerned. We have a whopping two poses to choose from here, and I think this one is slightly more interesting.
Dick Gumshoe - Head scratch. Sadly, it was only used in the first game, pal.
Larry Butz - Thumbs up. Larry's confidence (or lack thereof) is on full display here, and I think it's hilarious.
Lotta Hart - Fish out of water. Even thought it only lasts for a brief second, it's pretty funny. Looks like she just got hit by an uppercut.
Winston Payne - Sweating. When you expose the witness' lies and Payne has nothing good to say, it feels good. This sprite is the embodiment of that.

I'm surprised Capcom still giving shoutouts to that franchise
Oh no! The prosecution has charged a nefarious character with his/her heinous crimes. Luckily, Phoenix Wright comes to the rescue!
Phoenix has an unwavering belief in his client's innocence, but is otherwise in-character. He will thus not use forged evidence but will do everything in his power to defend his client even in the face of overwhelming evidence against them.
Who is the most evil character could get acquitted?
Phoenix Wright is the most famous character from the Ace Attorney series and a famous videogame character in general. Going from rookie lawyer to a skilled defense attorney is a very iconic and memorable story that has resided with a lot of people. However, I feel that nowadays he is simply taking up space in an already bloated cast with his presence and that he just doesn't have anywhere else left to go.
Phoenix has a simple but effective character arc. At the start of AA1 he is a rookie defense attorney that relies on his mentor Mia and bluffing to win cases. However, he is shown to have potential and manages to even defeat the legendary prosecutor Manfred von Karma by the end of the first game (not counting Rise from the Ashes as it was an added case). In the second game he is shown to rely a lot less on outside help, but needs to face a different set of challenges and question how far he is willing to go in order to defend his clients. He still needs help from others, but he is shown to be a lot more capable. Finally, we have the third game where he is shown to be largely independent by winning the third case without the help of Mia or Edgeworth and the final case shows him surpassing his mentor as he goes against the wishes of those closest to him in order to prove how even someone who wasn't even a bad person still must face punishment from the law. It's a great character arc and it neately closes of the story of Phoenix Wright. Or it would be if it weren't for the sequels...
So AJ is a fairly contreversial game in the series for chaning up a lot of things. The most notable change was Phoenix. In this game he wasn't a lawyer anymore, but instead worked at an illegal underground poker player, while posing as a piano player. Instead of his dignified suit and slicked back hair, Phoenix instead took the appearance of a hobo (he isn't actually a hobo, he still has an office and likely and appartment too). Instead of his usually nervous persona he was very layed back and confident, while also being very sarcastic and kind of an ass to Apollo. It's revealed that this was because he was framed for using forged evidence in a trial which resulted in him losing his attorney badge. The most contreversial part of this depiction was when Phoenix forged a piece of evidence in order to indict Kristoph Gavin, who was behind the forgery and the murder of Zak Gramarye. The reason he did was because there would be no othe

Phoenix Wright has to be a defense attorney for these violent felonious characters. Can he successfully win every case?
This fantasy court applies everywhere, meaning that no matter where the crime was committed, they can be charged under US Federal law.
-Guts from Berserk (charged with child endangerment( has used Theresa, Jill as human shields/hostages) several counts of murder)
Eddie Brock/Venom (Vigilantism, several counts of murder, incrimination, kidnapping)
Yuno Gasai (several murder charges, kidnapping)
The Punisher (Vigilantism, Several Murders, Illegal Weapons Possession, Kidnapping)
Batman (Vigilantism, multiple charges of assault and battery, child endangerment)
Daisy: Ace Attorney would suck lol. I would turn the game off the moment her screechy voice says Objection.
Side note, I did take some inspiration from his already existing move set in Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, as well as the format of BrawlFan1's concept (do check out his channel)
Basic Attacks
β’Jab-Pulls out a piece of paper and looks at it. For the rapid jab, he begins to read it aloud, with the small speech bubbles acting as hitboxes.
β’Up tilt-Light bulb appears above his head (as if he has figured something out or had an idea). Lightbulb act as the hitbox
β’Down tilt-Fingerprint powder. Phoenix would crouch down and apply some fingerprint powder, he'd then blow it. The powder is what deals the damage
β’Forward tilt-Throws a bunch of papers & folders in front of him
β’Dash Attack-Trips over and falls face first (Like a complete dumbass!), sliding for a bit.
Special Attacks
β’Down Special-Looking for evidence (investigation, trial and pressing mode), and in pursuit mode, a counter. Phoenix can hold up to 3 pieces of evidence, and the evidence would play into his gimmick:
-There's investigation mode (no evidence), trial mode (1 piece), pressing mode (2 pieces) and pursuit mode (3 pieces). So the more evidence he has, the more effective his move set can become.
-When he loses a stock, he loses a piece of evidence.
-The piece of evidence he gets is random, and most of the time itβll be junk (you can throw it at the opponent, but only for minimal damage).
β’Neutral Special-Phoenix would yell out βOBJECTION!β You can charge it up for more power, and the Speech bubble would be the hitbox. When in pursuit mode, the objection bubble is replaced by a big hand, pointing in the facing direction
β’Up special-The stepladder (investigation & trial mode) /Ladder (pressing and pursuit mode)
β’Forward special-Maya creates a shield of spiritual stuff, would act somewhat like Mewtwo's side b
Aerial Attacks
β’Neutral air-Scrunches up his body into a little wiggle like in UMVC3 (as if trying to wrap his head around the case). His body would act as the hitbox
β’Up air-Some evidence (it acting as the hitbox) flies out of Phoenixβs pocket, with him grabbing it and putting it back
β’Forward air-Pulls out paper and shows it. Like heβs shoving it into the opponentβs face
β’Down air-Phoenix would sneeze. Able to spike the opponent (and their temperature, shouldβve had a mask on Phoenix!).
β’Back air-Phoenix stumbles in the air and accidentally hits the opponent with his super spiky hair (Phoenix himself says it's natural, no hair gel or anythin

So I will go through every character I remember in The First Turnabout, and tell you why each TF2 mercenary is better
Cindy Stone: The other mercs are alive
Mr Sawhit: The other mercs commit many killings and are not arrested for it
Phoenix Wright: The other mercs don't bluff in their profession or they would die, the soldier in particular was more confident as a defense attorney that Wright and did not bluff. In fact the lamp would probably bluff less and could get away with it if it did bluff
Larry Butz: The scout is a better player than this guy, the other mercs do not concern themselves with women
The judge: Scout only simps for one girl, the rest are not concerned with women
Winston Payne: This man has no redeeming qualities.
Mia Fey: The rest of the mercs are a) alive and b) not women.
There we go.
