I need to know, I've had this in my head basically constantly and I'm losing my mind. Can someone tell me what the bipolar disorder theme is?

I love Jade but it was used by someone in the family.

For baby names I'd like to use names that are established but not popular/common, but I don't have a great sense of anticipating if a name will ~become~ popular. I like the name Phoebe and it has been rising in the ranks since 1989 but seems to have remained around mid/high 200s/low 300s for the past 10 years. Is it safe to assume it's not going to sudddenly rocket into popularity in the next few years (barring a fluke like a new major character/celebrity with the name)?

ETA I'm in the US but I see it is much more popular in the UK currently.

Not Maxine, the older pug before her?

My husband is completely in love with the name Phoebe, and it is so sweet to watch him talk about giving a future child that name.

I SO want to let the good times roll and be on board with the name but I can’t quite make myself love it.

I think i like softer names — our daughter is named Lila Camille and I always imagined naming another one something like Rosemary.

ETA: Lila Camille had a post about her on this sub about this time a year ago when the doctors told us she likely would not survive. By the grace of God, she pulled through. I thought i would update you guys bc so many of you reached out and were so kind:

Weird title, for good reason. I've been trying my darndest to think of a good middle name for Phoebe, but every time I do, I have accidentally made a redundant meaning name.

Phoebe Luna - moon moon Phoebe Claire - bright bright I thought I finally had a great one with Phoebe Wren. But guess what? There's a Phoebe bird. So add "bird bird" to the list, haha.

I like Phoebe Alice, but not as much as Phoebe Wren. Am I over thinking this? Do you have any suggestions?

I love classic, but not too classic (think Jane vs Gertrude) and I lean towards natural/botanical, but it's not a necessity. I cannot use Jane or June, my first child has a similar middle name.

& dorky me is wondering if anyone caught a vid of it? basically, everyone was throwing their bras on stage and to subvert from the norms i threw my student ID 😭 she picked it up and said, “thanks… mackenzie” after reading it

Lately I’ve been really liking the name Phoebe for a future daughter. What vibe does it give you? My only hesitation is for some reason I’d be afraid that when she’s a teenager, I could see bullies saying “You can”t spell Phoebe without “ho/hoe”.” Maybe that’s in my head only lol.

Hey guys! I think I’ve decided on changing my name from a variation of Caitlyn to Phoebe-Caitlyn has some not so positive connotations and I think that the quirkiness yet feminine vibe of Phoebe suits me.
