A list of puns related to "Phil Lord And Christopher Miller"
Should Phil Lord and Christopher Miller direct an original Pixar film yes or no because both of them directed cloudy with a chance of meatballs & The Lego Movie which were both hits and they both produce academy award winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
note: I am only counting films/series they directed/created and sequels to those films if they did not direct the sequels
this includes
Clone High
Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs
Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2
21 Jump Street
22 Jump Street
The Lego Movie
The Lego Batman Movie
The Lego Ninjago Movie
The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part
and anything else they directed/is a sequel to something they directed, (NOTE: THIS DOESNT INCLUDE STUFF THEY MERELY WORKED ON SUCH AS INTO THE SPIDERVERSE)
Kinda remarkable given how quick their rise was with the Jump Street movies and The Lego Movie. That it's going to end up being 6 years between them being credited as directors on a film. Have there been many other instances like this in recent history? Where film makers have just, through circumstance, gone such a long stretch of time between credited works?
I mean, unlike the two other directors, they left The Flash because Lucasfilm offered them Han Solo, not because of creative differences.
They have no further movies planned after Han Solo and another benefit is that they probably already had a plot and maybe even a very early draft of the script finished before they left.
Thoughts?
This is the best tl;dr I could make, original reduced by 57%. (I'm a bot)
> EXCLUSIVE: Phil Lord & Christopher Miller have signed on to develop to direct Artemis, the novel by The Martian author Andy Weir that Fox and New Regency acquired in a splashy deal in May. Simon Kinberg and Aditya Sood will produce through Genre Films, and Steve Asbell is overseeing for the studio.
> The book will be published November 17 by Crown, and Lord & Miller will work with the studio to set a writer to turn Weir's latest sci-fi entry into a script.
> That is underscored by landing Lord & Miller, who became available after they exited the Star Wars Han Solo spinoff film.
> Crown describes Artemis as an adrenaline-charged crime caper that features smart, detailed world-building based on real science.
> Lord & Miller are repped by UTA and Ziffren Brittenham.
> The deal expands their relationship with Fox, where they have an overall TV deal with 20th Century Fox Television and are behind the series The Last Man on Earth starring Will Forte.

The finals of Phil Lord/Christopher Miller Survivor has added the first film from this Oscar Winning Pair to the /r/FilmSurvivor Hall or Fame! With a little bit of controversy (like always); this is the definitive list of the Best to Worst of the films of Phil Lord & Christopher Miller...
receiving 0 out of 9 votes is...
#[SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE!!] (https://boxd.it/azpY)
It's a perfect game of Survivor! Not one single vote in any of the previous 6 rounds. The Oscar Winning Animated Film "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse", about Miles Morales, just one of the many versions of Spider-Man who needs to go up against Wilson Fisk who wants to open up worm holes to other dimensions allowing Miles to team up with other "Spider-Men" from other dimensions, will find its way into the /r/FilmSurvivor Hall of Fame after reaching the finals in the Best of 2018 Survivor; it takes down "The Lego Movie" in the finals.
The Animated Film based on the toys loved by many, tells the story of Emmett a construction worker who becomes "The Special" on his journey to stop President Business from using the Kragle to freeze the world. I really do believe that this film will find its way into the /r/FilmSurvivor Hall of Fame, who knows when.
And lastly, Here's a (kinda changed) quote for those who are disappointed in the result...
"We are from the [Spider-verse] and we're here to destroy you / Oh, man."
Thanks For Joining us for Phil Lord/Christopher Miller Survivor the next Survivor(s) will start soon.
