What do you think is the best explanation of what's happening in the Arnolfini Portrait by Jan Van Eyck? I've now believe it wasn't his wedding (as many believe) but a posthumous tribute to his wife who died during childbirth. What's your view?

In the famous painting 'The Arnolfini Portrait' the painter Jan Van Eyck painted himself in the small convex mirror seen behind the couple. The couple is facing him. Though whether he's painting them here or just standing is a matter of debate.

Arno Van Eyck Thought not working?
I'm stuck on a perception check in the "Help Soona with her Project" quest, and thought I just got unstuck. Once i internalized the Arno Van Eyck though, it said it would unlock all Motorics checks - great! But i have 4-5 motorics checks still sitting there, still locked. Has anyone experienced this with a thought not giving its stated effects?
I'm completely capped out for Perception, so can't dump another point into the skill to unlock.

Some claim the Van Eycks' Adoration of the Lamb (1452) is the most stolen artwork in history having been stolen in whole or part 7 times. Calvinists tried to burn it in 1566, Napoleon looted it in 1794. Germans took it in both WW1 and WW2. And one panel stolen in 1934 is still missing!

I am an art history nerd and started recreating art works just for the fun of it. My: Not in the Mood Men. 1: Dante Alighieri, Italian poet (1265-1321) 2. Portrait of a Venetian Nobleman (1510), Vittore Carpaccio 3. Portrait of a man in a Red Turban, possibly a self-portrait (1433), Jan van Eyck
