I realized that over the last ten years, I've probably listened to Spacemen 3 and then the various Peter Kember projects (Sonic Boom, EAR, Spectrum) more than any other artist. Those who are also fans...what else do you like? FWIW, I've listened to some Panda Bear and I also really liked the Beach House album that he produced. I'm open to all suggestions, though.

Weird question i know but this has been bugging me for a while now, it says they share the exact same birthday, November 19th 1965, on wikipedia and I find that a little hard to believe unless it was some weird cosmic coincidence seeing as they're both such important artists that did work together in one of the greatest bands ever
I'm a huge Spacemen 3 fan, and to a large extent a Jason Pierce fan (particularly his solo work and his Spirtualized stuff in the 90's). More recently I've really gotten into Peter Kember's work. I can't stop listening to his stuff. In particular:

Highs, Lows and Heavenly Blows (this album is soooo good...one of my all-time favorites)

His work with E.A.R. is a bit harder for me to crack, but I still listen to and am fascinated by it. Ditto for his later work with Spectrum. I also loved his work with Beach House on their most recent album (although I can't get into Panda Bear's albums at all, just doesn't do anything for me).

I had the opportunity to interview Peter Kember for a local radio, as he was having a concert later on that evening as Sonic Boom. I thought it might interest this sub, considering he is one of the major names in psychedelic music.

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
