#Covid violations
Republican extremist Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA) was fined again last week for refusing to wear a mask on the House floor, marking the 22nd penalty the congresswoman has amassed since last summer. Each violation is now costing her $2,500, taken directly from her congressional pay. The total cost of Greeneβs refusal to mask-up has exceeded $50,000, nearly a third of her official salary.
>"You have been observed not wearing a mask on July 29, August 2, September 20, 21, 23, 24, 27, 28, 29, 30, and October 1, 12, 19, 20, 21, 22, 25, 26, and 27, and have been asked by a member of my staff to wear a mask while in the Hall of the House of Representatives on each occasion unless recognized to speak by the chair," [House Sergeant-at-Arms William] Walker wrote in the letter.
Greene declared her defiance on Newsmax on Monday, claiming she has been fined over $60,000 (clip):
>She's fined me over $60,500 in mask fines. I refuse to wear a mask! And, Chris, I have to tell you something else: I am not vaccinated and I will be standing strong, standing up for the people across this country that refuse to get vaccinated.
Fellow Georgia Republican Rep. Andrew Clyde was also fined last week, bringing his total to more than $30,000 for Covid violations.
Rep. Dan Crenshaw, a Republican from Texas, joined the pair in the fined-for-safety-violations club last month when the House Sergeant-at-Arms cited (pdf) him

What I have to offer :
LUTS list:
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Moises Henriques is the Player of the Match: "I had to rebuild with wickets falling around me. That allowed me to set some sort of platform. Wanted to capitalise on their bad bowling. Didn't want to take risk of their better balls early and try to come home late. Used the surge to take a platform into the death overs. Curran also put their bowlers under pressure which was an important partnership. I love training, and I love trying to get better. I'm always trying to work on new things and tinkering to certain things. I'm obviously closer to the end of my career than the start but I like to master whatever I do. I feel people use momentum instead of confidence. When people are full of confidence and in a good space, that's what people call momentum. I just try to keep us all engaged and encourage them that every moment is a moment to get better from."

Right. There's one county game left, the mad swirl of Finals day is having a quick breather, and everyone's staring the winter months in the face. No matter, because I'm about to tell you exactly how safe or how fucked your counties are. Maybe. Fucking Sussex.
This is all based on information I've scraped together from press releases. Some might be inaccurate, out of date, or just plain wrong, so any corrections are welcome. I also ran into a problem where some teams extend contracts without a press release (Hampshire, Lancashire, and Surrey are the biggest culprits here) or don't include contract length or expiry dates in announcements (Sussex and Surrey the biggest bastards for this). Where no date is given I'll assume a 2-3 year contract as that seems to be the average and mark it with a +. Players that are confirmed to be released I will mark with an (r).
Domestic players only.

Tldr: here are cases of computershare illegally stealing their customers shares, not telling them for years, And claiming "statute of limitations" to dismiss the case. On March 30, 2015, Plaintiffs JLI Invest S.A. ("JLI") and LIN Invest S.A. ("LIN") (together, "Plaintiffs") filed a complaint against Computershare;Β Indenix Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ("Idenix"), Merck & Co., Inc. and Imperial Blue Corporation (together, "Merck") (collectively, "Defendants"). Currently pending before the Court are (1) Idenix and Merck's and (2) Computershare's Motions to Dismiss Plaintiffs' claims on the statute of limitations grounds
In November 2008, Computershare, acting as agent of Idenix, reported to the state of Delaware that the 560,000 shares of Idenix owned by Plaintiffs has been abandoned and constituted unclaimed property. On January 2, 2009, JLI's and LIN's shares in Idenix were escheated to the state of Delaware. The Amended Complaint alleges that "the escheat of such shares was not required or permitted."
Sometime between March 23, 2009 and April 6, 2009, the state of Delaware liquidated Plaintiffs' shares for a total of $1,695,851.75. During that time, according to Plaintiffs, the market for Idenix stock was fairly illiquid and comprised of approximately 50 shareholders. Accordingly, they argue that the sale in 2009 did not represent the true value of their shares.
