A list of puns related to "Peruvian Navy"
Since long before the peruvian revolution, their navy has been neglected. Consisting of only two scout cruisers, 4 riverine vessels, and 6 destroyers, Peru is severly under equipped for future operations. Thus, we suggest that their ships accompany ours to be refit with anti air weaponry and better weapons in the Pacific States. In addition, the dockyards at Iquitos are to be expanded with Mexican investment to be able to produce 2 small vessels at the same time. Luckily, these dockyards already exist and are productive, so we will pay for the peruvian navy to construct 6 of these ships in 1938, with each sub-200 ton light vessel taking two months. The airfield here will continue to be expanded so that it may hold a total of 100 planes by 1938, being the main Latin American Joint Command outpost in Peru.
A force of 5,000 men will be trained in aquatic operations throughout Peru, not intended to use landing craft or any complicated equipment, but merely to be ready for small unit tactics in urban and close rural combat scenarios. These men will be equipped with sub machine guns, lmgs, and hmgs from Chile and 2,500 Japanese rifles.
This investment is hoped to kickstart a greater expansion in Peru, both on the coast and farther inland. Both Chile and Mexico will finance the expansion of peruvian mines and new technology from the internationale is expected to aid in the economic recovery. Some small factories will be opened in Lima to produce small arms, with the objective of making 10,000 rifles for the nation by 1939. While the nation is primarily agricultural, its mines will be of great use to the economic effort, and we will aid the reorganization of peasant communes to support export to our many trading partners. We will also begin a joint education program in Peru, aiming to reach 70% literacy by 1955. The anti-corruption branch of the CNIR will aid the peruvian government in auditing their planned economy and ensuring efficient operations.

Originally the HNLMS De Ruyter it was sold to Peru in 1953, and modernized later on with ship to ship missiles.
Interesting fact: BAP Almirante Grau was on the list of proposed premiums for this year but was rejected. Who knows it may show up next year (more then likely without the missiles)
