How would the timeline in both Narcos series look if Don Pedro Avilés would have agreed to work with Pablo Acosta when Miguel Ángel Felix Gallardo was uniting the plazas in episode 2 of Narcos Mexico.
REFRESHER: In the series, Don Pedro Avilés kicks Pablo Acosta out of Felix Gallardo’s organization because of previous beef he had with Pablo Acosta. The catalyst being a comment Pablo Acosta made. After Acosta (Juarez) is kicked out, the rest of the plazas decide to leave, leaving Pedro Avilés pissed and Felix Gallardo looking like a fool. Don Pedro decides to take Felix Gallardo back to Sinaloa to him for making him look like a fool. On the way there they are intercepted by Don Neto, Nava and his Cops who shoot Don Pedro’s men and wound Don Pedro. As Don Pedro is crawling for his life, Nava is just about to kill Don Pedro however Felix Gallardo asks to take the shot. Right then and there Miguel Ángel Felix Gallardo pulls the trigger killing his boss and allowing him to form and lead the organization that would become the Guadalajara Cartel.
A pivotal moment in the series.
Let’s say Don Pedro Avilés decided to keep calm in the meeting after Acosta’s comment. Would have Pedro Avilés ended up the leader of the Guadalajara Cartel? If so, would he have moved into the cocaine business? If so, how would the meeting between Avilés and Escobar have been? Would the Guadalajara cartel have even lasted as long as it did with Felix Gallardo? So many possibilities. Leave your thoughts ⬇️
I just ran into the guy at a coffee shop terrace here in Madrid. After we took a selfie and I congratulated him on the great job he's doing as the TV commentary guy for DAZN, I asked him about the championship, and Bottas' contract situation.
He says Russell is a lock-in for the Merc seat in 2022.
He also says there's no way in hell Max loses this championship.
Once he sat back down at his table I took it as a signal to leave him alone.... but I got some good info out of him. He was super nice and talkative.
10/10 would meet again.
