Can wearing pearl affect someone negatively?
I really love the aesthetics of the Classic 104 (not the UltraClassic). The pearl and pebble vintage look of the keyboard is nostalgic, and takes me back to the days when I was a kid trying to break the computer at home.
I am wary of the quality issues that might have found their way in due to decades old tooling used to make the keyboard in title.
Hence, I looked towards the New Model M, which is made using new tooling. Though the design seems on-par, the colours leave something to be desired (completely subjective). Hence, my question.
From what I read about the tooling and keyboard manufacturing process, it does not seem likely that the New Model M would be available in other colours.
But I figured there is no harm in asking the community who is more educated on the matter than I am.
Additionally, I would really appreciate if someone could give a long term review of the Classic 104 from Unicomp. I have already read the excellent review of the New Model M by Admiral Shark, but it misses out on the comparison between the Classic 104 and New Model M (I am guessing because the differences between UltraClassic and Classic 104 are not noteworthy)
P.S. Though I have been a mechanical keyboard aficionado in search of a satisfying clicky keyboard for almost half a decade (currently, begrudgingly using Kailh BOX Jade switches), I only recently became aware of Unicomp. It is my fault for not looking outside the mainstream custom mechanical keyboards. The fact that I can buy an authentic buckling spring keyboard and a bunch of custom keycaps from Unicomp for less than a keycap set from GMK/Drop is mind boggling! Regardless, I might have a lot of questions on Model Ms (and a few on Fs), especially the Classic from Unicomp.

I’m sure there’s films and other things that focus on things between those two major events, I just feel like for me there’s a huge gap that I really don’t know much about from Pearl Harbor basically up to DDay. I know of most major events after D-Day as well so I’m not talking about that, just the time from Dec ‘41 to June ‘44.
I just remember that the clues in the book were not based on normal logic but more like wordplay and stuff like that. One of my favorite childhood book. Thank you guys in advance.
The name “Shippo” refers to the seven treasures: gold, silver, crystal, tridacna, agate, amber and coral. What caught my attention was seeing the number 7 again, and I wonder if they are related to the rainbow pearls/characters because the colors match:
Red - crystal. Green - agate, specifically moss agate because it is of a greenish colour. Blue - tridacna. Pink - coral (the meaning of Sango’s name). Orange - amber. Silver - silver. Yellow - gold.
Maybe I’m just reaching but I find it curious that the number 7 keeps popping up. Seven characters, seven pearls, seven flowers of autumn and now seven treasures.

• Fire Emblem New Nintendo 3DS XL ON HOLD
Has some visible scratches on both the front and back plate. Has moderate discoloration on the rubber bumpers, as well as some lighter discoloration on the inner screw covers/bumpers.
Console screens appear to be top TN & bottom IPS. Comes with generic GameStop box, a preinstalled 4GB MicroSD, and an OEM charger in rough cosmetic condition (yellowing/scratches).

Might possibly consider other Micros as well, but I generally prefer colorful variants (green, blue) over the pink or plain gray/black models. Not super picky when it comes to cosmetic condition as long as it functions properly! :D

Console itself is in mint condition! This edition was only ever released in Aus/Europe/JPN, and this particular one is an Australian import.
Please keep in mind that this console is region locked! While any non-DSi enhanced DS games will be able to be played on it (I've played Pokémon Platinum & SoulSilver on it before without any issues), NTSC-U/C 3DS games will not work.
This region lock can be removed with the use of CFW.

This lead to me looking through the comments where people were talking about Dave A's drumtrack sounding similar to Jack's work on "In My Tree" So...now I'm listening to that. They're not EXACTLY the same of course, but there is a great similarity. (Edit: And listening to "In My Tree" got me to start listening to "Given To Fly" because those songs have always just given me a similar vibe.)
It got me started thinking about Pearl Jam songs that remind me of other songs and Pearl Jam songs that sound like other PJ songs.

It makes me feel like the body is walking around without skin and every pierce from every eyeball is torturing the exposed nerves with pins.
Acknowledgement that it must occupy space because it keeps being noticed is a vivisection. Every time. Why is any of this necessary? Why is it forced to participate? Nobody cares. But it won't go away.
And naming it. Splits it open and tacks it spreadeagled to a board so every passing breath hits it like fire and knives.
There's such a wrongness in it being near the real people. Why do they look. Why do they talk at it. It hurts so much. It's going to hurt them back.
There's not even anything to vivisect.
I can't possibly exist.
There would be too much to hold. It's not fair.

Sorry to those who maybe already saw this, I posted it in another group with a lot of overlap, but this kind of depersonalization increasingly seems more common with CSA that other traumas, just anecdotally from my manic reddit activity and a couple IRL friends. And I'm really stuck on this and trying to place it. Other trauma survivors talk about feeling ashamed to take up space in general, as an idea about themselves, but don't often connect with literally having these reactions to being looked at/called to.
I'm starting to see the fear of being physically looked at as a result of CSAM/performative CSA. The name thing for me is directly tied to abuse from my makers (I was exclusively called "it" and other names in the "home" and I know what a big deal that is), but it also feels more related to trafficking because I did use a name with the different clients, and they liked to use it, and I think that's the set of feelings I get when I'm called to, of what's about to happen.
This is a DAE/vent, but still no advice wanted, hope that makes sense. This is big stuff and I'm tackling it in therapy and ultimately can only recommend the same for anyone else dealing with this. Just feeling really alone with it.
