What an incredibly sad day this is. He was a brilliant actor and brought some truly fantastic characters to life.
Rest in peace.
I am absolutely shocked and gutted about Paulβs death and Iβm sure many of you are too.
I keep thinking about it and it doesnβt feel real. I keep imagining Jackie, Adam and Johnny being sad. Even Jim! My heart goes out to Paulβs family as I canβt imagine how theyβre feeling right now. I hope they know how loved he is by all of us FND fans.
Is there anything we can do, collectively, to honour Paulβs life and work? I feel like as a fan base of FND, we could definitely do something.
He has given us all so much laughter and joy, it only feels right to honour him!
Please comment below any suggestions!
EDIT - Credit to liadhsq2 Paulβs family expressed wishes for producers of FND and Big Talk to make donations to the Old Vic Impact Fund. Here is the link to donate: https://www.oldvictheatre.com/support-us/donate
Preferably one involving Martin.
He was in the Half-Blood Prince and another British programme called Friday Night Dinner he will be missed. Edit; he played Eldred Worple
When Frances Cuka (Nice Grandma) died they just renamed her best moments video to a tribute video, which was bad enough, but for Paul they seem to not even be acknowledging it and it sucks. Some people are saying they are working on a big tribute video but itβs been over a week now and they have not said anything on the matter.
Awards aren't everything but how the buggering hell did Paul not win a BAFTA?

Edit: I watched The Fox and The Carpet Cleaner.
Hope he enjoys his time in the shed in the sky. Weβll all miss him.
Goodbye martin/Paul your life was well lived you were funny we all loved you and we miss you so martin I'll make sure to take my shirt of in honer because its boiling and hope Jackie don't sell your "collectables"
As you all know, Paul Ritter unfortunately passed away aged 54.
So to remember him, letβs discuss our favourite moments or memories of Paul in this post.
Feel free to discuss your favourite Martin moments or other shows Paul was in.
R.I.P Paul Ritter.
Paul Ritter was in Friday Night Dinner, alongside Tom Rosenthal. Tom posted a picture of himself with Paul Ritter and Jim Rosenthal. I discover that Jim is Tom's dad. I am reminded of my childhood and being repeatedly being reminded in the F1 2000 game that your commentator for today's race is Jim Rosenthal.
Now how to find that game...
Thatβs good acting...right?
yesterday my favourite actor Paul Ritter died of a brain tumour (youve probably heard) - iβm devastated:( i met him a year and a half ago and got pictures with him and it makes me so sad:( for some reason itβs always harder when you know the person whoβs died, especially as theyβve died of the same thing you have. it feels so weird as i met him and itβs just devastating:(
The actor for Martin has sadly passed away from a brain tumour at age 54
