Amid all the news of Nicky Butt moving to head the Academy, I am Surprised more isn't being mentioned about Paul McGuinness leaving his role after 25 years of hard work and dedication to the cause. Over 80 players were promoted to the first team under his tutelage including over 25 international players. I wish him well for the future.
McGuiness says: -

I could recall 12 first team players that left (Giggs, Evra, Ferdinand, Vidic, Welbeck, Cleverley, Chicharito, Henriquez, Nani, Buttner, M. Keane & Powell), can't think who the other two are.
I really like Paul McGuiness, it seems like he's been doing a great job with the youth teams. Its always hard to prove your worth when you come in under the shadow of a famous father, but he's definitely shown he's here on merit.

The EU is preparing to record all possessions of citizens in a register. "Against money laundering." But the register will also be able to be used for other purposes.
On July 16, 2021, the European Commission's Directorate General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets (DG FISMA) opened a tender procedure for a "Feasibility Study on a European Asset Register in the context of the fight against money laundering and tax avoidance." That register will be housed by a European Anti-Money Laundering Authority (AMLA). It will link all national registries of real estate, businesses, bank accounts, vaults and crypto-currencies, complemented by "access to data on other sources of wealth (e.g. movable property, life insurance, securities and luxury goods)." The latter includes art, cars, jewelry and gold.
The ANP already reported on July 20 that Finance Minister Wopke Hoekstra welcomed the initiative: "I am pleased that the committee has made proposals to better tackle money laundering and terrorist financing." Wopke Hoekstra prefers to see AMLA based in the Netherlands. Although the implications of this initiative for the privacy of citizens are enormous, it received hardly any attention in the media. Only the trade press picked it up, but was silent about the possible consequences for ordinary citizens. One exception is Paul Buitink who asked in BNR Cryptocast No. 185: "All your possessions in a European register - Do we want that?"
Alarm bells did go off in Germany - which experienced what hyperinflations, money reforms and wealth transfers bring about between 1914 and 1952. The leading journalist Norbert Haering spoke of the great dragnet that would bring together all information on small and medium-sized assets of all citizens in a huge database without touching gaps for the rich. The widely read weekly Focus saw a danger for politically disliked citizens and journalists and even called for civil disobedience. "A giant step toward communist dictatorship" (report24.news), "Threatened expropriations and wealth transfer" (schildverlag.de), were other headlines

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
It's July 2010 on our TNA save, WWE star Chris Jericho is off to tour with Fozzy in a few months, but while he's getting ready for the tour, it had been known that his WWE contract is nearing expiry. TNA has prowled on this huge opportunity and have officially swiped Jericho away from the #1 promotion. The problem is, I do not really have a concrete plan on how to use him. Any ideas? The young Jay Lethal has just cemented himself as an icon in professional wrestling after 6 months of going over TNA's older stars. Rhino, Raven, Kevin Nash, even Hulk Hogan, Mark Henry (in a short stop), all fell down, before Lethal finally snapped and turned on the man who once helped him against Nash and Hogan, then TNA World Champion Sting. At Slammiversary, Lethal defeated Sting for the title, but can he keep his momentum with the returning (from rehab) Jeff Hardy immediately targeting him? (Not sure what to do with this in the long run, it feels corny to just continue feeding veterans to Lethal after he beats Hardy. Also, I sent Sting to our developmental territory for a short while, I wanted to get him to other places like Japan or Mexico but I think the only way to do that is through an excursion?)

Taz left the commentary booth and chose to partner up with former Nation of Violence ally Samoa Joe once again to serve as his coach. Joe had just ended Mick Foley's wrestling career on Slammiversary, and seems to have his eyes set on Steven Regal. On the side, Taz seems to be scouting some more people to create some sort of team, and his eyes are set on two fresh call-ups from developmental, the indie legends known as The Kings of Wrestling. (Basically a version of Team Taz with some indie darlings, might even bring the FTW Championship to have Joe hold something.)

Nigel McGuinness has been going strong as the X-Division champion, but it seems like he really doesn't care too much about the title. He feels like he is above it, the real prize that he wants is Kurt Angle's neck. Now he's patiently waiting for Angle's return from rehab, and while he think that he's already dispatched everyone on the roster (even beating stars from outside the promotion), he might be getting a little too overconfident, especially when a hungry, fresh from developmental Tyler Black can't wait to leave his own mark in TNA soon.

The month of June saw two huge returns in the WWE, one was ECW and the other was D-Generation X, TNA appointed Jim Cornette which brought a slight shift in momentum for the company and Ring Of Honor put on 4 shows, 3 of which were pretty good. In this review I will rank the top matches, the top wrestlers from each brand, the shocking and funny moments and rank the top 5 shows for the month. I was debating doing a half year review as I've managed to post a weekly one for the past 26 weeks but I'm just going to put a huge review of the whole year when I eventually get there. Since starting these reviews I've had many good conversations with other wrestling fans who told me about the memories they have from this era and even messages from people thanking me for a certain review which is just nuts. Ring Of Honor is the home of great wrestling and they proved it multiple times throughout June whilst a 6 person extreme rules tag match was the best match from the WWE.
