A list of puns related to "Pati Patni Aur Woh"
When Kedarnath was released, focus was on that Namaste women Sara Ali while Sushant who had delivered several hits and was a superstar got no press.
This is called as Toxic Nepotism. When you buy PR for your nepo friends and even genuine stars who have no support are left out to make way for nepo kids.
Ananya Panday did not have the best of starts to her Bollywood innings with Student of the Year 2 neither performing to expectations at the box-office nor garnering her much appreciation for her acting skills. However, the lass came back strongly with her sophomore outing, Pati Patni Aur Woh setting right precisely the two aforementioned parameters.
"I've never claimed to be perfect from the start.Β Student of the Year 2Β was my first film and I obviously knew that I wasn't perfect and that I'm just learning and I'm just starting out. So, I think my main challenge is just getting better and better with each film. I really hope that people think this is my Highway, as you said, but I have a long way to go. I felt that the more different work I do, the more people will appreciate me," said Ananya.
On being jovially reminded that a "highway" is obviously associated with a "journey", Ananya laughingly acknowledged the fact. "A highway is a journey, exactly...exactly. And I have a highway to go."
i know, i know, why did i watch it knowing it wasn't going to be fantastic. i like these weird rom coms and wanted to pass some time, and i genuinely had fun watching majority of the movie, until the stupid sappy ending. i mean i saw it coming, kartik's character being completely forgiven for being a dumbass for no reason (sure he's not a cheater but he still lied to bhumi's character). then kriti's character comes into play and kartik presumably has another crush on someone who isn't his wife. so my question is, in a rom com, was the hero meant to be someone you're supposed to cheer for? or was he supposed to be someone you wish got caught because he's an asshole? it seems to flip flop over the course of the movie, some parts making you feel bad for kartik, some parts for bhumi. it wasn't very consistent and just aimless, surely no director accidentally made that happen, no matter how bad
I was watching the trailer on kartik aaryanβs instagram ID when I noticed a comment bashing the film for a dialogue, I went back to the trailer to hear it properly and I was stunned. I completely agree to the girlβs comment about how insensitive that dialogue is. I found the trailer MEH , the songs are shitty remakes again. What do you guys think?
After the trailer of Pati Patni Aur Woh out, a dialogue from the trailer βBiwi se sex maang lein toh hum bhikhari, biwi ko sex na dein toh hum atyachari aur kisi tarah jugaad laga ke usse sex haasil kar lein na toh balatkari bhi hum hain,β has created a trouble for the makers and the actors.
Kartik Aaryan's fans and the audiences were not happy with this dialogue. People have said that it speaks about marital rape which is not being accepted by society. In an interview with Zoom, Bhumi spoke about the criticism the trailer of Pati Patni Aur Woh received. She said that if they have hurt anybodyβs sentiments, they are sorry because that wasnβt the intention. But everybody who is involved in Pati Patni Aur Woh does not belong to that school, does not belong to that thought process.
The Bala actress further said that Mudassar (Aziz, the director) has always celebrated women. Bhumi's films say a lot about what she feels about her gender and what she is trying to do. They are constantly working towards reducing the gender gap. So, she is not going to be a part of anything that will increase it. She has said βnoβ to a lot of movies where they were ready to pay her s**t tons of money but she didnβt do those films. Those films have gone on to become massive hits.

After Kartik Aaryan and company received heavy backlash for his monologue in Pati, Patni, Aur Woh, looks like the makers have made the decision after all.
Kartik Aaryan's monologues have been one that have been famous for the longest time now. What started with Pyaar Ke Punchnama has continued in another form with his upcoming film Pati Patni Aur Woh, however, this time, it has lead to a lot of backlash to the actor, along with the team. The movie also co-stars Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles, and while the actor's dialogue does talk about marital rape like a joke, both the leading ladies have also been asked to stand up to this being actresses.
In the movie, Kartik says, βBiwi se sex maang lein, toh hum bhikaari. Biwi ko sex mana kar dein, toh hum atyachaari aur kisi tarah jugaad laga ke uss se sex haasil kar lein na toh balaatkaari bhi hum hain.β (If we ask wife for sex, we are beggars, if we say no to them for sex then we are tormentors, and if we manage to get sex, we are rapists) This dialogue has not gone well with the audience, and everyone has criticised the entire team for the same. Now, reports have it that the monologue will be edited out of the film since it has come across as offensive.

Ritviz Srivastava has taken to social media to publicly slam T-Series and makers of the Kartik Aaryan-starrer Pati Patni Aur Woh for plagiarising his hit song Udd Gaye Electronic music producer Ritviz Srivastava has taken to social media to publicly slam T-Series and makers of the Kartik Aaryan-starrer Pati Patni Aur Woh for plagiarising his hit song Udd Gaye in the movie.
"I went to the theatre to watch a movie last month, just a regular night out with my folks. Half way through the movie a track played and that's when it really hit me. I was listening to a song that's ridiculously similar to 'Udd Gaye'. I am pretty sure there are others like me, and in case you are wondering if I was somehow involved in the making of the said song.
"I would just like to clear the air and say that neither I or my appointed management/publisher/ distributor had any role to play in this nor was any adaptation license for my song 'Udd Gaye' taken by any music company in any part of the world," Ritviz wrote on Instagram.
He added: "I just want to ask one question - why the f**k would someone do this?"
After seeing the young artiste's post, many people from the music industry came out in support of him.
DJ Shaan commented: "It is horrible remake/edit or whatever secondly where is the respect and credit!". Comedian Rohan Joshi too took to social media to express his disappointment over the plagiarised track.
Filmmaker Mudassar Aziz isnβt pleased that he had to βmuteβ a controversial dialogue that apparently made light of marital rape from his upcoming movie Pati Patni Aur Woh and the director on Thursday said this is not a solution to such a serious issue. The trailer of the film drew flak on social media for the sequence where Kartik Aaryan, who plays the lead in the film, rants about feeling sex deprived to a friend (Aparshakti Khurana) and says, when a husband asks for sex, he becomes a beggar and if a husband tricks his wife into sex, he is a rapist (balatkaari).
Many called out the actor and the director for poking fun at marital rape. In the wake of the outrage, the makers decided mute the word βbalatkaariβ, something Aziz said is βunfortunateβ. He said while the word has been removed from the film, the intention of using it was never to make fun of marital rape.
βIt was very unfortunate that the word βbalatkaarβ has had to be replaced. It is unfortunate because I maintain my stand that a 12 year old needs to know what rape is.
βThe act is wrong, but if you are not going to talk about it, if they arenβt going to know what the term stands for, youβre going to be a generation thatβs unaware. Donβt stop the word, stop the act,β the director said in a group interview.
Aziz also questioned the duality in peopleβs opinion as he recalled people laughing aloud over a similar dialogue in Aamir Khanβs 2009 film, 3 Idiots. βBy muting that word, youβre not getting anything. What sort of double standard is it that in one film (3 Idiots) a person reads βbalatkaarβ 36 times from a letter and everyone was laughing,β the director argued.
The filmmaker said, in the age of social media, people have become βfinger happyβ as they donβt try to understand the context of something before commenting on it.
βCenturies ago, people who had easy access to guns and went about firing it were called βtrigger happyβ. Now, we are in a βfinger happyβ generation which doesnβt waste a single second in putting out an opinion on something that one hasnβt entirely seen or donβt know the full context. I make films for people and I want them to react after watching it.β The director said he has made a βprogressiveβ film, something he believes the audiences will also understand when they watch it.
βEveryone who thought this was adult humour or thought I was sympathising or empathising with the idea of marital rape is going to be rudely shocked. The woman in this film takes the man

Thanks
I finally watched this movie as it is on Prime now. It was so much better than I thought it was going to be. The patni reminded me of Priyanka. The woh wasn't as bad as everyone made her out to be. She was actually really good in this vapid type role. I was even impressed with Pati's acting.
Those of you who just watched it on Prime...what do you think?
Pati Patni Aur Woh is set to emerge a HIT as it hold well on Monday with collections set to cross the 5 crore nett mark.
The Monday collections of the film should be in the range of 5.25 crore nett which is a 40% drop from the first day.
The four day figures of the film are around 38.50 crore nett plus and it should cross the 50 crore nett mark for the first week . It will be second Friday which will tell if the film is a HIT as it will have to have a decent second week as the first week will be good but not excellent.
The other release Panipat is a big flop as it will collect around 2.50 crore nett on Monday which will take it to the 20 crore nett mark in four days. The drop is pretty much similar to Pati Patni Aur Woh but the collections are not there. The film was rejected by most parts of India on day one itself and on day four even Maharashtra has done the same as numbers come down to low levels.
The first week collections of the film will be around 26-27 crore nett and there will not be much coming after. The film could struggle to do the weekend of Pati Patni Aur Woh in its lifetime
