I've Always wondered, why are some of Papyrus's bones black? And not just because his sprite cant fit them, I see fanart with the same black bones, so what is it on his bones?

Does Papyrus have white or black bones?
On the one hand, it's seen in the Overworld sprite that Papyrus has the black bones; but on the other hand, maybe they only look black because of the bit limits and in his battle sprite they look white.

What color are Papyrus's bones?
On the overworld sprite its black which makes sense because of pixile limitations and the battle sprite they're white which makes sense.
But everywhere else they're black like in his fangamer merch and thr drawings in the 5th anniversary concert.
Why is there so much fan art of Papyrus having black limb bones instead of white?

Do you think sans and papyrus' bone attacks puncture the human, like in glitchtale? They only do 4 damage so that would be a lot of stabs if so, but no matter how determined I dont think at frisk age they'd be able to withstand that. I just have a bad time when I see people drawing Papyrus's bones black. I understand this is due to the overworld sprite, but the only reason it's black there is because all the outlines are black and papyrus's bones would be too thick if there was any non-black there.
I dunno, maybe my skull is too thick to accept other people's personal styles. I'll just have to not let it get under my skin.
Papyrus is an island buster because he can make bones. Also, he is massively faster than light because fuck you.
