Special Agent Dale Cooper is a strange, but likable guy who likes to incorporate dream logic and weird Bajoran mysticism into his investigations (also loves to draw historical parallels between Bajor and an old Earth nation called Tibet). Everyone thinks his methods are a little weird, but surprisingly enough he actually gets results so nobody really questions him too much. He also really loves cherry pie and most importantly, damn good raktajino.
Twinpieckz is an interesting world where nothing is quite what it seems. The weird name is cuz the settlers' ancestors are Polish, or something. Lots of surreal dreamlike shit going on. It seems like a respectable Federation world on the surface, but there's a lotta seedy shit going on, like respectable community leaders turning out to be doing underhanded business deals with Ferengi drug cartels and all that.
Laura Palmer's murderer is revealed to be her father. He unknowingly did it while under the possession of a Pah-wraith named Bob. This mystery was solved with the help of a Pah-wraith named Mike who used to be Bob's partner, but then he saw the light of the Prophets and the Celestial Temple and was redeemed and started fighting for the side of good.
Somehow it all ends with Cooper being trapped by the Pah-wraiths for 25 years in the Fire Caves of Bajor. Cooper escapes because he got real fucking tired of hearing Dukat bitch about how there are still no statues of him on Bajor.
