I’ve been really struggling with getting a good sleep with my back pain and have been trialing and tracking different options. I saw an orthopedic bone pillow at the home health store and figured it was worth a shot for $20. My expectations were low, but it has made a big difference. I can sleep through the night without waking from pain and my stiffness is much less intense in the morning. Still lasts the same amount of time but it’s no longer a 15-min stretching ordeal to roll out of bed. I’m still waiting for any treatment beyond NSAIDs and a referral to a new rheum so my options in the meantime for optimizing my life are fairly limited. This was one area I had some wiggle room in. No matter what I do I’m tired and exhausted all the time so getting better sleep was the first thing I figured would make the biggest impact.
