Procedure for getting California License and Transferring Car for someone relocating to Orange County
I am moving with cars registered in New Jersey and have New Jersey Driving license. From what I understand this seems like the procedure to become California resident and transfer cars there.
- Get Smog test done for out of state car
- Apply for CA Driving License and make appointment for DMV to get temporary license (Permanent license is mailed I assume)
- Get California Auto Insurance for Car
- Make appointment to transfer NJ Title and Registration to CA Title and Registration and get CA License Plates after getting the License/Temporary License as I assume the Driving License of owner is listed on the title.
Does this order look right and my question is do I need to prove address I put down on Driving License application where the Driving License will be mailed as being new I may not have proofs to provide right away and may need to wait few days to apply otherwise?

Which city/area outside of California is most similar to Orange County?
I currently live in Costa Mesa and in my late 20s. I’m a bartender and my partner and I want to buy a house. We’ve both decided that we can’t afford housing in Orange County but have been advised to buy a home elsewhere and build equity before purchasing a home in the OC. I’m putting the question here because I can’t find answers elsewhere….we’ve looked at places like Orlando FL, Tampa, even places in Texas like Gavelston or Houston. Does anyone know anywhere else in the country that would provide a similar living environment to Orange County? Or places people who love living here also enjoyed living. Thank you :)

Opened chewing tobacco. Been going on for a while. Some literally sealed with tape. Give it back to them and try selling it to me again the next week. If I walk out the door I'm stuck eating $50. Been going on for a while now. Corporate store. Already tried corporate Chevron but they could give two effs. Got these cuttings as a gift, I like labeling all my plants’ species names and I’m having trouble with this one. She says the flower is about 3 feet long and pinkish orange. It flowered in the fall. It grows outdoors at her house in California and didn’t flower for at least 5 years until now.

Can I find a space to rent a table in Orange County, California?
This is probably a long shot, but I’m DMing for a group who doesn’t have a great space to play. Moreover, a lot of them don’t have dice sets. Are there any places that rent spaces to play (tables, dice, mini figs, etc.)? Specifically in the Orange County (or possibly LA) area?
