hi all!
i'm a freshman at nyu currently ROTTING away in my hometown, so i figured i'd start a lil q&a for upcoming nyu students/applicants to ask questions about nyu in an attempt to ease my boredom for the next 2 weeks!
in all seriousness, i used this board a lot as a senior during college apps season, and i'd love to pay it forward for all those confused/ nervous upcoming freshmen and current applicants (since there's apparently over 105k of them this year?) & give y'all the insights/advice/tips that i wish i could've gotten!
i'm just gonna say now that i am NOT qualified to speak on admissions or whether you'll get in or not. i however can speak on the nyu experience, including: the freshman experience, academics, social life/party scene, dorms, student body, nyc life, nyu as an institution, dorms, dispelling myths/stereotypes, etc!

I really don’t know what there is to say. People are still defending Fred, but man 5-39 in the BIG10? That’s so fucking bad man. If you think he deserves more time please go watch some home games. It’s so early in the season and this team is dead. In basketball you can at least get lucky at times and just be red hot shooting, but we sit near dead last in 3pt % out of ALL D1 programs. It’s bad roster construction on top of low accountability. Just because we gave Frost more time doesn’t mean we need to do the same with Fred. At least with Frost I can see the want and will from the players. I can 100% say I don’t see that drive from the Men’s basketball team.
Girls basketball is balling though. Let’s keep showing our support for Amy and the girls.
