A list of puns related to "Nt1"
Iβll admit i had never heard of this guy up until a couple weeks ago when Baylor played OKST. But over the course of his teams 2 biggest games of the season heβs been DOMINANT! Iβll have to go look back at more tape from the season but from what Iβve seen heβs a rock in the run game and is surprisingly very very active as a pass rusher as he forced a INT last night. Which leads me to possibly ranking him above Jordan Davis at NT. If i understand correctly he is draft eligible and could declare. If he does he is younger, and i donβt think itβs crazy to start having the debate with him having a higher ceiling than Davis.
Hey all! I wanna start this off by saying this is my first experience with an XLR mic, and an audio interface. I only have experience with USB mics that just work, so I'm an absolute beginner here. I am using a Rode NT1 through a Steinberg UR12. I have set up the drivers on the audio interface, plugged in my mic, and the interface is showing that the mic is being powered through +48V phantom power (the little red light indicator is on.) Every time I go and test the mic, its extremely quiet. And when I say quiet, my voice may as well have been nonexistent. My audio is so low that it doesn't even make a blip on audacity. I have tried recording in mono and stereo. Nothing seems to make a difference. I feel like I'm missing something obvious, but a point in the right direction would be appreciated so I can figure this thing out. Thanks in advance everyone.
Hey, I am currenly using an at2035 but im looking for an upgrade. Im thinkin of a new rode nt1 with a shockmount and a xlr cable or a used standlone aston spirit for about $20 more. I dont need any multipatterns, only cardioid. The mic will be used for vocals exclusively. Will the spirit give me any sound quality adventage in comparasion to the nt1 or u pay mainly for the multipatterns?
Thank u

Hi yβall!
My husband enjoys writing music/raps for fun. I thought getting him a mic to record (as opposed to his current Snapchat) would be a nice gift this holiday season! However I am incredible humbled by how complex this process is lol.
Ive done enough research to see that the Rode NT1 would suit my budget and his needs, but Iβm not sure what else we would need? Ive read that USB is not the way to go, but what is the alternative? A soundboard or mixer?
Any amount of help is super appreciated, as I feel utterly lost in this department. Thank you all in advance :) happy to answer more questions as needed.
Iβm new to Podcasting. I want to spend Β£100 - Β£250 ($130 - $350) on a setup that Iβll use for at least a few years.
I have a deep voice. Iβll be recording in an airstream.
One friend recommended the Behringer C3 and some kind of mixer, another the Rode NT1. I understand that I also need an arm and a pop shield.
Before I rush out and buy either (which?), Iβd like some opinions from people in the know. What would you buy?
I'm about to sell my blue yeti pro (xlr) and get a Rode nt1. Is it a good idea? I've heard wonderful things about the Rode, hope I'm making a good decision! Thanks
Context: Iβm a total newbie and I just got the NT1 and pop filter, but canβt really afford the AI1 if thereβs any other option. Iβve heard people like Scarlett interfaces, but itβs a similar price range and Iβm not sure which model is best (Iβll mostly be using it to record vocals in my home studio). Does anyone use one thatβs slightly cheaper, but still good quality? Any help is appreciated as Iβve never used an interface before. Thanks!

Hey guys,
Iβm deciding on a microphone to record rap vocals, and am deciding between Audio Technica AT2035, Rode NT1, and Rode NT1A.
Could anyone with experience using these microphones share their verdict on which microphone is best for recording vocals, or their strengths and weaknesses when compared against each other?
My budget is between $230 - $300, and I intend only to record vocals (no instrumentals).
Thanks! :)
Iβve downgraded my setup and no longer need these, hoping to find them a new home. Mic and headphones come with stock cables, but Also included is an extra red xlr cable and cable for the sundaras.
Asking $260 for the Sundara, $180 for the Nt1, $ sold 80 for the Evo4 sold, and $70 for the PSA1. If you want it all bundled, Iβll do $530 $450 ~~$400 shipped. Minus 10 each for local or ~~
Local is 75231
All SOLD
iβve had my Rhode microphone for a while now, i have it setup at home, i record vocals with it, often singing/rapping. At the start i noticed the mic was very bright, to the point itβs just too harsh, the mids and the highs are way too sharp.
I have the mic connected to a behringer umc22 (i know this is like the cheapest interface you can buy but iβm working on a budget) and this goes into my laptop, straight into fruity loops.
i used to be able to deal with it, and the person who mixes my tracks also could deal with it. but iβve used other microphones and the difference within the final track is very noticeable. iβm tempted to buy a new microphone, but first i wanted to post this to see if there was any solutions.
thank you .
I recently got a Neuman TLM 103 and a SSL2+. I tried it and and it seemed to bright for my vocals. I like to keep the low end in my voice but still not have it muddy. Iβve been thinking about returning the Neuman and getting the AT4050. Iβve also been looking at the AT4050st as well but I canβt find a sure difference between the two. What would you all recommend? Iβm really trying not to go too far over the $1000.
Hey guys!
I need a really good microphone for gaming and YouTube, I found two really good microphones the Shure mv7 and Rode NT1. But i can't really pick! Can you give some suggestions? (Or just recommend at2020 lol XD)
Thanks in advance!
Hey all! I'm looking to purchase a microphone near term for use in a podcast, and potentially some work in voiceover in the future. While I'm new to this field, I have a decently loose budget and wanted to get something that's pretty good quality for the podcast. I currently plan on recording in my office, which is untreated.
Naturally, I gravitate to the SM7B with my initial research. While my budget is loose, I do feel I a little hesitant spending $400 on my first mic (just feels like a huge step in quality). Other mics I looked at were the AT2020 and Rode NT1/NT1-A. I definitely heard a huge improvement in the NT1 over the AT2020 for my voice, so I feel I can justify the price hike there. The SM7B also sounded really nice with my voice with my limited testing.
A friend of mine let me borrow his nt1 to use in my office to test out. While still sounding nice, I do notice the common occurance of background noise being present when my gain is turned up. I don't have any random noises, but the sound of AC and the fans on my desktop are definately present. Using the noise reduction feature in Audacity seems to really help, but I've also heard just getting the Shure to fix that issue is the best option in terms of quality.
Does anyone have any opinions on this in terms of the podcast and voiceover work. I feel like the SM7B is truly the winner in terms of using it for the podcast, but I'm not sure if it's the best for future voiceover work. I'd like to keep the NT1, but unsure if I'm really fit for using that mic since I just don't have any sound treatment (and I don't want a blanket over my head while recording the podcast, haha).
Hey guys! I am thinking about to buy a mic. So, i found hyperX quadcast and rode nt1, i checked the tests, but i cant really decide, what is better?
