A list of puns related to "Now Voyager"
I couldnโt stand him when I watched the show as a teen. He was annoying and cringey.
Now Iโm rewatching in my 30s and I actually really like him. Maybe Iโm at that age where cringey becomes enjoyable (think dad-jokes), or maybe itโs a because of the times weโre living in. With all of the terrible things going on in the world atm with Covid, corrupt political leaders and so on, maybe we need someone whoโs a good, all-round, genuine person, who just wants to help everyone he meets.
I have to say I really enjoy when he shows up on screen and annoys everyone (mainly Tuvok), while just trying to help out as best he can.
I am watching Star Trek: Voyager for the first time and I am really enjoying it so far. B'Elanna Torres is one of my favorite characters on the show right now. Something minor that's been bothering me is that the writers haven't really done much with B'Elanna and her mixed-species heritage.
At first, B'Elanna seemed very Klingon. She was angry and tough in the first few episodes, but then once she got accustomed to the ship, she adapted. The season 1 episode "Faces" was a good demonstration of B'Elanna's character, and we learned a bit about her family history in that episode.
But after "Faces," B'Elanna's Klingon side has never been addressed. The show barely seems to talk about B'Elanna's identity as a half-human, half-Klingon woman. She could be a human and not much would change. Does she worship Kahless? Does she know how to handle a bat'leth? How did her father meet her mother? I don't know!
I realize that I have five seasons of Voyager left, and there is plenty of time to go into more depth with B'Elanna's heritage, so maybe I am jumping the gun by asking about it, ha. The main reason why I wanted to ask about this is because it seemed really strange that season 1 explored B'Elanna's Klingon/human self only for this to be almost completely absent in season 2.
I realize that Voyager is probably not going to have any episodes where Klingons appear in the Delta Quadrant, but still, I would like to see more Klingon stuff in the show. Without spoiling anything important, will B'Elanna have more Klingon-focused episodes in the future?
I'll preface this by saying I love Voyager and always have. But the writing and inconstant continuity didn't do it any favours.
There was just a lack of a commitment to do any kind of long arcs.
So tv shows now love em or hate em are definitely better at telling the kind if story Voyager wanted to be, would have benefitted from.
Imagine how much more sense it woukd make, the first season could be spent having to stay in Kazon space, Voyager still being damaged, low on supplies, it would make sense for them to stay around Kazon space, Neelix would know the area, hell they could even delay going to the ocompa home world and make having to rescue Kes be an arc.
The could have done what Year of hell was supposed to be, alluding to it slightly in one season and then having it be a full season like it was supposed to. Imagine how much Voyager could be better with the simple addition of better continuity.
Thoughts anyone?
It was already described as fairly valuable in the lore, before, but now suspect it goes way past that at higher levels. And it gets funnier when you realize that Nemo, coincidentally, has a considerable version/rank of it.

I also did all the normal verification process without any issues until now suddenly. Seems super shady to have my money held hostage without any given reason what so ever. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hello again, /r/StarTrek!
This season has been great for Star Trek gaming, with several of Activision's classic titles being officially re-released on digital platforms for the first time with ViacomCBS's official blessing. While it's great that they're available to a wider audience, some may have noticed that the clients available for sale are lacking in polish. Fortunately for Elite Force players, talented developers have been plugging away at the source code for the game's multiplayer and making substantial improvements over the years.
Three years ago, we released our first standalone Holomatch client, with tons of fixes and a multitude of popular user-created mods included. Today, we'd like to announce our new version 1.4 update! We were originally going to release version 1.3 over the Indigenous Peoples' Day/Columbus Day weekend, but opted to wait until a useful new feature was ready to ship, so we wound up skipping a tenth. Sorry for the confusion!
#Is this legal?
We've had a code and asset distribution agreement with ViacomCBS since 2012. So long as we're not competing with the official digital release by significantly de-valuing it, we're in the clear, and so are you.
^^^In ^^^other ^^^words, ^^^don't ^^^expect ^^^us ^^^to ^^^include ^^^or ^^^otherwise ^^^update ^^^the ^^^single-player ^^^campaign ^^^any ^^^time ^^^soon.
#Okay then, what's new?
New players will be prompted to set their in-game gamma brightness setting on start-up.
UI and HUD elements will now correctly scale with aspect ratio, eliminating stretching and unintended rendering bugs. Example screenshots (3440x1440 resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio, PNG format):
Field of View and HUD position sliders have been added under Video Additional. Example screenshots (3440x1440 resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio, PNG format):

He makes an important point at 6:45. It is almost guranteed that Steve will be aggressively buying back shares at these prices the SECOND their blackout period is over after earnings come out.
That's almost 6-7 months left.. They announced the share buy back when we were at... $18-20 ($CAD for VOYG) and that's around the price that we last bought at.

IMHO Voyager Digital is one of the best opporunities in the market right now at these prices, Steve knows this as well and I predict him to go Christmas shopping a little early this year.
