The Sacramento Kings face off against the Golden State Warriors for the third time this season and the second time in San Francisco. The Kings will be looking for a third straight win over the Warriors after winning the last matchup.
In their second contest against Golden State, Sacramento gave up a 6-0 run to the Warriors before answering with a 10-4 run to tie the game at 10 with seven and a half minutes to go in the first. Sacramento would take their only lead of the game at 13-10 at the 7:12 mark of the quarter as the Kings would manage to hold the lead for the remainder of the game.
Sacramento led 52-40 going into the halftime break and would take a 20-point lead, 62-42, with just under nine minutes in the third quarter. The Kings largest lead came in the third quarter as they were ahead by 31, 83-52 with 3:20 left in the third. Sacramento would go on to win, 111-98, at the final buzzer helping them snap a previous four-game home losing streak to the Warriors.
Kings guards De'Aaron Fox and Buddy Hield each scored a game-high with 21 points to go with seven and five assists respectively. Warriors forward Eric Paschall totaled 12 points and four rebounds. Sacramento is looking for three straight victories over Golden State for the first time since winning 15 in a row over the Warriors from Jan. 15, 2000 to Nov. 16, 2003.
