A list of puns related to "North York City Centre"
Today James_the_XV and his team went to visit businesses and do some street campaigning in the middle of York. The mood is relaxed
James_the _XV spent 5 hours in the centre of York before attending meetings with local interest groups
Many shops and houses were seen to be showing Vote Conservative window signs during and after the event. Approximately 850 were given out today
James_the_XV announced plans to travel the local rail network tomorrow as it was an issue mentioned by many people in the street
Tomorrow, James will visit Scarborough and Whitby and give speeches at each of the picturesque seaside towns
EDIT: Thanks folks for all these hints and tips! I was running out of lunch time thus I just walked around Yonge & Sheppard.. Will give it a try tomorrow at this location! Thanks!
Just wondering.. As I am looking to go for an after lunch walk soon :) Thanks!
Edit: had the black pudding supper tonight from micklegate fish and chips. Was excellent and really hit the spot, thanks for the recommendations
People of York,
I'm taking my girlfriend out to for her birthday this Saturday in York and would like to hear some recommendations of good places to eat out. Flexible on cuisine, but ideally somewhere that won't break the bank!
Thanks in advance
Hi folks,
Any recommendations (or one's you'd definitively not recommend) for doctors north of the city centre? Location wise I'm thinking somewhere like ProMed Doctors, North Avon medical Centre or Cranford Medical Centre, or around those areas. I don't have specific requirements, just the usual stuff, just new to town and haven't changed dr's in about the last 15 years!
Also, related question, do pretty much all doctors use "manage my health" these days? Having ready access to medical records so good that I don't want to give it up, so it'd be a factor in considering Dr options if some don't use it.
Any advice totally appreciated! I did do a "gp" search for r/chch but really location is a biggie for me as I'm on foot mostly, so a lot of the options that came up didn't apply.
Thanks!
I got Pavillion Suite down already but that's just one night out.
Hi everyone, Iβm a sixth form student in York currently gathering data for my geography project on sustainability between York City Centre and out-of-town shopping centres such as the Designer Outlet and Monks Cross.
It would be great if you could fill in this Google Form Iβve made on the feelings and attitudes towards sustainability in York and how it could be improved.

Coming tomorrow for a night and want to book dinner. Would like to avoid chains as they will be the same and we get at home
Edit: thanks for all the suggestions guys. Most appreciated. Will update once I have managed to book somewhere
Update : We ended up going to Mamma Mia. Excellent food, nice relaxed atmosphere, we sat in the garden area and loved it. Would thoroughly recommend 10/10
Going through a very painful breakup at the moment and looking to get into new hobbies to take my mind off things. A friend suggested we try squash. Can anyone recommend a good pay per play centre?
