Please frens, I only have a day left to save my laptop from being auctioned off with priceless data inside.
I waited all day yesterday hoping someone would help me out but my post didn't appeal to anyone (probably because it was a long post or because I'm not from the West).
So I'm appealing again to someone who can lend me $90 and I will pay back $115 by 24th or 25th May 2020. ๐ค
Edit: Considering PayPal will charge $3.93 for this transaction, I will pay back $120 including the transfer fee.

First of all dear generous redditors, I didn't know this subreddit existed! You're doing a great service here and I appreciate it.
Guys, I had trouble paying my rent last month (long story, corona related pay cut) and I had to pawn my laptop to avoid becoming homeless in the middle of the pandemic.
I just received my paycheck today and with all bills, expenses and rent accounted for I don't have the $100 that I need to save my laptop from being auctioned off.
Unfortunately the guy that I pawned it to is a real local sleazebag (pawn shops were closed during lockdown and I was connected with this guy via a friend) and he's now threatening to sell it if I don't settle by 27th May. The agreed time period was anyway 1 month ๐. I miscalculated when I'll be able to pay back with all honesty.
It will be a great loss for me cuz it's worth at least $600 with priceless photos and videos of my family that I've saved over the years. Along with personal info and licensed softwares.
I know I messed up but I hope someone can help me save my laptop and I promise I'll pay back $120 within 30 days.
I can provide my identity and personal information, along with any other details you may need to vet me.
For example, I'm from Kandy and these are some stereotypes I've heard about other provinces:
Colombo- People from Colombo are rich, good looking and sophisticated.
Kandy/Upcountry- Very conservative
Southern Province-laid back and alcoholics
