A list of puns related to "North Bay"
Tweet >Is it surreal for Warriors to be facing the Raptors in Tampa Bay? Steve Kerr: "Everything is surreal these days. You walk onto the court and there's a sign that says 'We The North,' and you're in South Florida." (Kerr gave credit to @michellepoole_ for making that comment to him)
Full quote below >"Everything is surreal these days. You walk on to the court and there's a sign that says We The North and you're in South Florida. That's kind of weird. That's what Michelle Poole said to me on the way in as we were walking our way into the arena. I can only imagine what it's like for the Toronto coaches and club, players and management to be living down here throughout the season. Just an incredible challenge for everybody involved. As I've said many times, we're all trying to keep the NBA going. Everybody's making sacrifices, trying to do their part. I know Toronto has gone above and beyond to do that as an organization. I thank all the players and coaches and management who have made those sacrifices, probably more than anybody in the league. I think we all thank them for doing so."
So I got a job north of the bay, and I need to find an apartment in the next couple months. Originally, I wasnt going to live in SF proper, since traffic is such a nightmare near y'all. My buddy told me that the only public transit going into SF was the ferries, which end at 8pm. I go to a lot of concerts, and plan to go to more when I move to the area. But my question is, is it worth it to live in SF proper just to have easier access to the clubs and concert venues? When does the BART stop running? Or am I gonna need to use Uber/Lyft regardless of where I live. The shows I go to tend to run until 2am or later.
As best I can tell, organized faster group rides in the north bay, like those coordinated by Mike's Bikes and Rapha, haven't started back up yet. Are there any race pace/drop group rides out there that would welcome fit (~4 w/kg FTP) and respectful but technically inexperienced riders? I picked up cycling during shelter in place and would like to get exposure to these sorts of rides as an onramp to racing, and I figure I'm not the only one in my situation.
I'm also generally looking for folks/group rides to do my long weekend z2 rides with, so comment if you're in the same boat! Cheers
What are some good riding trails and what would you rate them? Thanks!
Hi - my partner and I are moving to Boston in a couple months. We are both working professionals and have seen apartments in North End (Harbor Towers, CCP, etc) and Back Bay (Comm Ave, Marlborough St, etc.).
Which area might be better in terms of location and value for money? I didnβt see a ton of young people living in the North end. Did I catch that right?
I went to my stop to get to work 5 mins early. Bus never came. So the next day I got 10 mins early. Bus never came. Today I went 20 minutes early and the bus never came. My ride NBT says that the bus went past me. I asked a bus driver from a different rout after waiting 30 mins where he buses were and they said sometimes the buses just βdonβt get outβ. What the fuck?
Iβd like to hear from locals as to your opinions on both these things.
Iβm writing a TV scene in which a family gets into an argument over whether the small town they come from counts as being in the Bay Area, and I want to find a town which could be on the fence of such an argument. In the end, theyβre going to go to the house of (or manage to call) a celebrity considered beloved/claimed by the Bay Area who will essentially respond with βnever heard of it!β leaving the argument unsolved.
Reading only gets me so far on both these fronts. Does Tom Hanks qualify? Steve Wozniak? Is there a local celebrity that could be considered the definitive King of the Bay Area? Living, obviously.
UPDATE: thanks, everyone!! I will use these suggestions and the information in my script! If you ever see a show about thirty-somethings living in San Francisco, youβll know!
Tomorrow we'll be making a stop on a road trip in-province. I wanted to get an idea as to what's open that might be of interest. We'll be staying overnight at one of the motels in the area and moving on the day after.
Hello all, I wanted to ask a few questions about the G2 road test in North Bay.
Almost all of the road tests in Ontario south of Huntsville are booked up till November and I need mine for my summer job ( I work at a golf club and need to be there for 5 AM sometimes, and my mum isn't too keen on driving me 6 days a week) so I booked mine for this coming Friday in North Bay. Since I'll be taking an almost 4 hour trip up there, I really need to pass, I wanted to ask some questions about the test:
Is there a defined route? I could not find any info on this anywhere
How is the parallel parking done? Is it between cars or pylons?
Are there any one way streets?
Was it easy?
Does anyone possibly have a phone number for the location? Online it just gives the number for the automated response.
Anything else I should know?
I appreciate any response, Im afraid ill have to quit my job if I can't start driving myself and desperately need to pass, thanks to anyone who takes the time to help a stranger out!
Is it a nice city, what good things are there in North Bay? Thinking of moving to the area, any small towns on the outskirts that are worthwhile? thank you.
Hi. What is the best trail with a view of the Pacific Ocean in North Bay?
The two options I can see are to either bike South down Morena to Balboa and then up Sante Fe st, or go North through the canyons to the (illegal) train track crossing near La Jolla Colony Dr. Is there a more convenient access point that Iβm missing?
Hi all, will be relocating to north bay in the next few months and am wondering about my internet options. Iβm in a pretty rural area. Iβve called Bell and Rogers and they donβt have service there. Explornet has satellite service only and not their LTE service.
Are there any other options available other than paying $100/month for 10 down 1 up 200gb limit to Explornet? Price isnβt even the issue, would just prefer faster speeds at unlimited data usage.
Iβve signed up for Starlink as well but who knows when theyβll send out their packages. Mid to late 2021 was the date I was given.
