A list of puns related to "Nissan Murano"
What's the best approach to fix this, please?
I have so little knowledge about cars and I can't afford to pay to get this fixed, watched some videos on youtube with different methods , if anyone had a past experience with a similar problem, please help !
Hi iβm facing an issue and wondering and looking for advise
The car has 45k miles so is outside the bumper to bumper warranty
I purchased a 2016 Nissan Murano SL brand new from the dealer in 2016. At the time I also purchased the top Nissan extended warranty they offered as well.
Currently it has ~58,000 miles on it. New Battery within past year.
Over the past 12 months my car will randomly not start. Push button or Key Autostart. After towing sometimes it has started sometimes it hasn't and after waiting a day or two sometimes it has started sometimes it hasn't.
After each occurrence i have brought it to a Nissan dealer for checkout and repair. One time after driving home it died on I-10 nearly killing me due to a loose ground after their repair but that is unrelated.
Each time the dealer either tells me they can't find any issues and/or takes 3 weeks and says they found a problem and did a bunch of work but each time it repeats at a random time after their repair. This most recent time they told me the only think they could find wasn't covered by Warranty so I paid $400 out of pocket and then 2 weeks later it happened again.
I am at a loss here and was hoping someone could help me with the best way to handle this.
Dealers do not care to provide any service for a major issue and I would rather not just dump a car I have taken great care and besides it not starting frequently i do enjoy the car.
60k miles. I know MPG is gonna drop dramatically if youβre primarily city vs highway but 8.7 seems super low. Usually when I fill up my tank it gives me ~400 miles, but recently itβs been ~300 miles. Iβm driving it like I normally do: local errands and not much else.
I have a 2010 Murano S.
Last summer we were getting ready to take a 5 hour ride, so I did some simple maintenance including replacing the air filter. The trip was fine and the next day we drove another hour and at the end of that trip, the CEL came on. Took it to an auto store and got the codes read (I don't recall what they were but it was MAF related). Turns out the flange on the air cleaner was too large and the lid wouldn't fit. I replaced that filter and cleaned the MAF, but still had the CEL.
When I got home a few days later, I replaced the boot from the air cleaner since it had a big gash in it.
Fast forward to now - I had a P0455 code and saw the bulletin about the vent control valve o-ring, and so I just ended up replacing the whole valve assy with a Nissan part. Now I have a P0447 code "vent control valve open".
What should my next step be?
Heyo,
Does anyone know why my mom's Murano bluetooth doesn't work? I've tried connecting multiple times on multiple devices and it just will not play music- tho it does seem to connect to the phone for calls? It's a 2013 btw
Edit: I figured it out! this video showed me what I was doing wrong. To connect to audio you have to hit NO when it asks if you want to connect to bluetooth. What a silly way to phrase it. Anyways thanks everyone for the tips! Hope this helps someone in the future.
Hello, I have a 2013 Nissan Murano which is regularly services and everything is good, but 2 days ago I was forced to drive into about 80cm of water (due to a flood) the car passed through it with no issues, then I parked the car at home and drove it after 5 hours with no issues still. The next day (yesterday) I didnβt drive the car at all, then today when I tried to move the car I put it in reverse and put the handbrake down but the car just wouldnβt move, the torque was there but it felt like the handbrake was holding it, but everything works (lights/revving/AC/all gauges) so I put it in P and after 2 hours I tired again, but this time I semi floored it and I heard a loud bang and the car started moving like normal (aside from a small whistling sound) so I put the car in P and waited to see if anything fell or leaked, but nothing came out, then I started driving around the neighbourhood at 60 KM/H and saw that there was a small water trail behind me, which is normal. Then I went and the main road and everything was fine. When I took it to the mechanics they all said that itβs all normal (refusing to check the car)
Am I all good to go? Or do I have to do something now.
Sorry for the long message
TL:DR, Nissan Murano went into a water flood and drove normally, the next day the car wouldnβt move and felt like the handbrake was pulling the car down, after flooring it the car moved and a loud bang sound happened, the car is now normal. Do I have to do anything or am I good to go?
Bueno la cosa es que tengo un carro alto pero 2 puertas y he visto estos Nissan Murano y Sangyong Rexton que no son tan pegados al cielo en precio, vendiendo el mΓo si llego a uno de estos.
Pura vida por la ayuda!
Hello!
Nissan Murano 2018/2019(not sure).
Iβve been driving this car for the last week (Iβve driven it plenty of times before) as my mom went on vacation. I got in the car Sunday night and it wouldnβt start. The lights came on, music came in, but engine did not start. My stepdad got in, pushed the brake very hard and it started. (Itβs a push to start). So I drove to the gym with no issue, brake was sensitive as it usually is. Got in the car to go home - wonβt start. So I pressed as hard as I could and it started. Today I tried to start it - same as before but pressing hard wonβt start. No matter whether I pressed on the brake hard nothing helped. I havenβt been driving it since Sunday because I realize there has to be something wrong - itβs not normal to have to press on the brake with all your strength.
My sisters bf came over to restart the electronics (translating, hope that makes sense). Didnβt help. If you use the start button on the key to turn it on from outside - it does work. However as soon as you try to put it into a different gear it turns off.
Iβm very careful with the car and only drive it to the gym and food shopping so I havenβt donβt anything wild. I was wondering if anyone could help me figure out the issue before I have to call a tow truck and pay Nissan money just in case itβs an easy fix. Absolutely any help would be so greatly appreciated!
Edit: Thank you so much to the kind people who responded! I tried cleaning the current one but it didnβt work. So I went and purchased a new switch and replaced it myself. Surprised at how easy it was! Thankfully it worked :) thank you soooo much!
I was just told by the Transmission place that my transmission will need to be replaced and it's $5300.00 dollars because it's an all wheel drive. The transmission has stepper motor, pressure solenoid and secondary pressure so it's not fixable. <-- I do not know what all this means but basically it's been having issues for months and I've had it in previously when the issues first started and nothing was found but it's now so bad I guess they can find the issues.
I work from home so even though it's a 2012 it only has 90K on it. which seems pretty low to me mile wise. I bought is used and it had 8K on it previously.
This is the first major issue this SUV has had. Previous issues was something like the stupid visor wouldn't stay up anymore on the driver side even though this thing has been kept in a garage for most of it's life.
My husband feels this fix is going to cost us 1/3 of what we paid for it and doesn't really feel it's worth it but I don't want a new car payment . I like having no car payments.
Is it worth just getting it fixed? I mean I don't know if I can trade it in with a shot transmission anyways.
Should I try a different transmission place for a second opinion on this?
