A list of puns related to "Nickelodeon Studios"
They made Korra, sure. But that's it
Nickelodeon moved to Orlando to have a central studio. They were using filming stages all over the United States. Geraldine Laybourne asked who could benefit from having us as a partner brining in kids. Disney was out because they already had a strong foundation and were a competitor. She knew they couldnβt afford building and owning their own studios. So she went to Universal Studios and pitched having Nickelodeon Studios in their park. Universal Studios was just getting started and had an uphill battle with Disney. Laybourne went to Universal and said down the road you have competitors and they have a mouse. You donβt have a mouse. We can be your mouse. Thus, Nickelodeon Studios was born. However, Nickelodeon Studios would sadly close 15 years later.
I was just surfing the net, when I encountered an article, teasing on a clearer vision of what Avatar Studios has up their sleeves. After weeks since the last update, the Nickelodeon President, Brian Robbins, has given its word.
As the Chief Content Officer for the Kids and Family for Paramount+, he says that expanding the Avatarverse is not just for kids, but for the whole family.
>The franchise-building will continue with the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film being produced by Seth Rogen and the planned expansion of the Avatar universe. βThe idea is to leverage that IP and those franchises [from Nickelodeon] to drive consumption on Paramount+ for kids and families,β says Robbins.
He also gave us an idea of specific media and animation focus.
>Quality matters more than ever now. We have to deliver quality and we're really excited about [Ninja] Turtles as a franchise in general. And one of the other big projects that we're working on, on the theatrical front is Avatar. We signed a deal to bring the original creators of Avatar back into the studios. They started Avatar Studios, and they're well on their way in development on a series of CG films and a new Avatar series.
What do you think the movies will be about? Which Avatar would you like to have a series?
