A list of puns related to "Nick Miller"
I feel like Russell Crowe in every movie he's ever done
SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT 👽
“Flash forward to the future. 40, 50 years. You’re married, kids, grandkids. I’m long dead. And you look over to the woman sitting next to you. And she’s gray. She’s old. You have a grandpa smell. But… you lover her. Be honest with yourself. Is that fat old lady sitting beside you… is that May?”
He’s talking to Coach about May after they’re break up in S4E21
Correct me if I’m wrong, but this def spoke to me.
Edit: These are all great! but I meant regarding the (few) serious conversations he had.
i'm asking because i wanna know the psychology behind it. nick miller is probably my number one fictional character crush since i was about 15. however i don't talk about it to anyone in real life because they'll ask to see him and when i show him, they'll go "ew that's an old man" but i can't really explain for myself. i know i'm not the only one who find him incredibly attractive. i think for me it's that he's the perfect man by being imperfect yk? i'm really curious to see why other people find him attractive
Was looking for a list of the wrong idioms Nick says throughout the show but couldn't find one, so figure I'd crowdsource one
What episode is the scene where Nick (I think it was Nick) talks about how the tailor would always grope him while adjusting his pants? And he thinks that’s normal?
Mine is, "I once saw a priest drop his keys and bend over and pick it and it was just so human that it ruined religion for me."
My husband and I are debating on characters from other mediums that are similar to Nick Miller (specifically female ones). I think Jake Peralta from b99 is similar but that’s kind of all we’ve come up with and we obviously need some more brain power 😂
I’ve always related a lot to Nick (as do many of us) especially when I was a bit younger.
But now, over this holiday break with my family who I don’t live near, I’ve entered a new level of Nick Miller. The Nick level that surprised everyone. When he goes home for his fathers funeral, and all of a sudden, he is the most responsible adult.
I have not stopped fixing problems since I’ve been here, or stopping arguments. So far I’ve walked into my childhood home and fixed stair banisters, light fixtures, toilets, etc. I’ve had to explain to family why their way of thinking is wrong, I’ve had to stop arguments between my mom and brother who still lives at home.
They’ve looked to me for solutions…I’m not built for this type of responsibility, much like Nick, abs I would love nothing more than to start drinking and not worrying about it.
Anyone else get to this level of Nick during your time back home!?
Happy holidays everyone!
Plz give me your recs for books where the H is like him. I’m not a huge fan of contemporary but open to it; I love historicals, scifi, fantasy etc
All recs are appreciated! And also steam included would be great ;)
Pretty funny tweet from Harrison Wind after last night's game. Richard Jefferson was taken aback by how much the fans already love Bones Hyland after they cheered loudly when he checked into the game--- and then things got substantially louder because Bol Bol walked over to the scorers bench.
In season 2, Jess tells Nick about Cece's model friends and their butt drinking. Nick says these are 2 of his 4 favorite things...butts and drinking. So what do you think are the other 2?
Jay Cutler? The Chicago (brown) Bears? His woman's coat? The Griffin? Schmidt...?
I'm rewatching New Girl and I'm in love with Nick Miller. The character is so well written. Jake Johnson has done a fantastic job of playing Nick Miller chef's kiss. The goofy, protective and respectful character of his is like a dream. Him being hot is definitely a cherry on top. Jess and Nick's first kiss is the best first kiss scene ever made. This show is amazing.
When Nick is explaining his zombie novel (the one that had the same plot as Twilight) we see the main characters name would have been Carol. I think it’s funny how the character named after his failed relationship with Caroline never takes off but when he names his character after Jess, both his writing career and relationship take off eventually. Very small yet interesting detail about the show!
Just finished watching New Girl entirely for my first time, and i must say, Nick Miller quickly became my favourite fictional character and by extension, Jake Johnson has became one of my favourite male actors compelling me to watch nearly everything he's ever been in, he has such an amazing ability to convey multiple things concurrently, genuinely talented!
i look forward to incessant rewatches :)

hey y’all! i have to make a video for class arguing why nick miller would be a good president so give me some good points i can make please:)
i was watching a nick miller being relatable for 5 minutes video and every single joke is one that dylan would make, i swear. don’t believe me? here are some examples:
“any idiot can take care of a cactus!” “why are you watering a cactus?” “because i’m an idiot”
“do i regret it? yes. would i do it again? probably”
“i don’t want you talking at my funeral” “what?” “you can go to my funeral but you can’t talk! my funeral is my time to shine”
“i am not a successful adult! i don’t eat vegetables and/or take care of myself!”
“i’m pretty sure i’m having a heart attack and i haven’t arranged for anybody to clear my internet history... i wasn’t building a bomb - i was just curious…”
“stop being so mean to me or i swear to god i’m gonna fall in love with you!”
