A list of puns related to "Newport, Wales"
James Howells, 35, said he mistakenly put a hard drive with 7,500 bitcoins in the trash while clearing out his home in 2013. He claims he had two identical laptop hard drives, and that he mistakenly put the one that contained Bitcoin in the trash.
He needs permission from his local council to search a garbage dump he believes contains the lost hardware. The landfill is not open to the public and trespassing would be considered a criminal offense.
But the Newport City Council has so far rejected his requests to look through the landfill, citing environmental and funding concerns. And it doesnβt seem like local officials are about to budge anytime soon.
Howells has offered to donate 25% of the haul β worth around $70.8 million β to a βCovid Relief Fundβ for his home city if he manages to dig up the hard drive. He has also promised to fund the excavation project with the backing of an unnamed hedge fund.
βAs far as I am aware they have already rejected the offer,β Howells said. βWithout even having heard our plan of action or without being given a chance to present our mitigations to their concerns regarding the environment, itβs just a straight up βnoβ every time.β
I bet there are a lot more stories like this, and I wouldn't be surprised at all if people really search through garbage dumps or anything for hard drives hoping to find crypto.
I've decided to thin down my collection and concentrate on the things I really want: OBR :)

My husband was there and stood right next to Kurt, and didn't say anything to him, but it was apparently a very chilled vibe that night. People recognised him but didn't mob him or anything. Some people spoke to him after a while and stuff but it wasn't crazy. I'd be really interested to know if anyone else here (older people obviously) who were there? There was some guy there who was a teenager at the time and Kurt asked him for a light. How cool is that?!
Friends, we are here today to talk about politics, I know I know, a dry topic and one that few want to hear about, but here, in Wales it is vital we talk about the importance of a strong government at the end of the Senedd elections so that Cyrmu gets the leadership she deserves and needs, a party that can work across the spectrum to find the best solution with any party to deliver to the Cymry people a future they deserve and indeed have been arguing for term after term but have found themselves going unanswered as the largest parties have often focused on their policies. Despite this we have continued to anchor governments in sensible policy and have worked with parties across the spectrum to deliver a bright future to Cymru, and now this is the chance to hand us a larger share of seats, a better position to speak to the future government and to get a party into it that will work for the many, not the few and one which can show sensible government to the people of Cymru.
We have a manifesto whose overhaul of the Cymry political and economic state is radical and much needed, not least of all mentioning the huge expansion in the transport network that would benefit this part of Cymru. A southern metro that would provide unprecedented transport access in and around Newport and the whole constituency, providing the opportunity to travel to thousands who would have otherwise struggled to get around as effectively if a government of our party is not delivered. A north-south connecting motorway would allow that same unprecedented level of connection across our nation that would enable people to take the opportunity to move across our nation, visit and see our natural beauty, do so for cheaper and less carbon emissions and also contribute to the economy both through jobs and the easy transport route it opens up for our nation.
We also have a plan to have a Community Development Fund, a fund which can be used to great benefit here in South Wales East to benefit our local economy through job creation, development and expansion of local facilities that would be available to our people. It would open up an immense number of local opportunities and is something that we have been in desperate need of for several terms now, something which is available if you vote for a Democratiaid Cymru government this election. Returning the candidates who have stood here to represent you and guaranteeing that we have a nation whose priority is the people first. We can do good whe
