A list of puns related to "New Victory Theater"
So the AMC theater in the Target/Home Depot shopping center on Victory has been empty for like two years, but I drove past this week and saw construction crews there. Anyone know what's going on?
This is my first time finally posting in this sub after a few months of browsing here and there. To start i have gone through and searched but i would love to have some specific recommendations and just some general knowledge sent my way. I am just getting into the home theater scene after purchasing our first house last year. I will preface that we do have some university students renting out our basement downstairs but i dont want that to affect any recommendations. I am in Canada but i do have a family cabin in the USA that's about a 2 hour drive so if a recommendation is from the USA that is not a problem.
I love TV's and have been obsessed with them for years, I currently have a LG C9 as my main unit and instead of getting a new TV for Christmas my friend convinced me to build out an actual surround system. He did tell me that it will take time to build it out but if done properly it will be worth it and last quite some time.
Currently i have a really bad 5.1 setup, i have 2 bookshelf speakers, a center and i do have 2 surround speakers that are not good whatsoever (they came from a home theater boxset like my sub). Here is my current setup:

I had just finished what was probably my favorite album, Scenes From A Memory, when I continued in order of Dream Theater's studio albums. I came to Six Degrees Of Inner Turbulence expecting it to be good, but not as good as Scenes, since lightning doesn't usually strike twice. But I was wrong yet again. In fact, this album is just as good as if not BETTER than the previous, which is an incredible achievement. This album is technically into two parts so I will cover the first side of the album first, give my thoughts on it, then review the 40+ minute title track at the end.
Man I have a lot to say about this song. This album continues immediately where the last album ended, with static. I was confused when I first heard this but then I remembered that the end of Finally Free connects to this one. Very cool continuity between albums. After about 15 seconds bells come out of nowhere. After the 3rd bell chime I am greeted with a fantastic bass intro. When I first heard this intro I thought that it was going to be a more relaxed song, and at 0:49 that prediction went straight out of the window. I know that I said Beyond This Life was the heaviest song I heard, but this song takes that and raises it to the 10th power. The heavily distorted guitar continues going and at 1:25 the keyboards come in and it is one of the best moments I have heard from this band up until this point. I think that it will settle down after that, but at 1:45 they kick it up yet another notch with some of the best heavy guitar riffs that I have ever heard. The wah petal on the guitar makes this section especially unique. And this is without mentioning the guitar solo at 2:22 which is just flat out insane. Then the vocals come in and they are some of the best I have heard from Labrie. Then at 4: 37 the tempo shifts again into a really nice groove. We then go back to the moment from 1:25 and it winds down again, only to come to one of the best sections of music I have ever heard. The heaviness of the song doubles down at 5:53 where the drums and guitar take center stage. At 6:16 the tempo changes yet again to more faster speed and I love it. Also the riff at 6:31 is one of the best I have ever heard. I am then hit hard by Labrie coming in with the vocals "Cry. Desperate. Crawling on my knees. Begging God to please stop the insanity". These lyrics are raw and intense and the vocal delivery on them is

I tried the same approach with Mapuche but I ended up building theater squares everywhere ^^'
So what the strat behind this?
For Russia I can get that religious tourism can make it up for "regular tourism" and the civ is anyway good at generating greta people and culture.
But for Persia? Does Paradeizazezea (...) only is enough for tourism? Is it all about natural parks?
I don't go out enough, thus wonder if there are any differences in terms of facility, e.g.surround sound), seat comfort between various cinema theater in Ottawa, especially for the upcoming Bond movie, some says in 3D?
Thanks!
I have checked the various movie release calendars and this is the first year in a long time where there are no planned national theatrical release of a Christmas Movie. There are however a metric ton of new Christmas movies being released this year on the streaming services and cable/broadcast TV.
TV: Hallmark / Lifetime have there usual slate of new movies but a lot of new networks are creating there own Christmas movies for the first time. One example is the Food Network having a movie with the Pioneer women "Candy Coated Christmas". Additionally the old broadcast networks are getting back into making "Made for TV" movies for the Holiday season.
Streamers: A lot of movies that would have made it into the theaters in the past are being produced or bought by streaming services. I will probably do some one month subscriptions to various streaming services so I can watch a particular Christmas movie. For instance 8-Bit Christmas looks like a good movie, so I will have to get an HBO Max subscription for a month if the reviews are decent.
Also Disney+ we don't need a Home Alone reboot. The original movie is still a relatable enjoyable experience for today's kids.
Is there any movies on any platform that anyone else is looking forward to?
