A list of puns related to "New Jersey Senate"
He is running in a deeply blue state with an unpopular incumbent, but some of his positions set him out from the National Republican Party.
He holds positions such as:
Pro-Choice | Pro-Marriage Equality | Equal Pay for Equal Work | Pro-Environment (Believes in Climate Change an Human's impact on it)
would it benefit Republicans in heavy blue states (California, New York, Maryland, Massachusetts, etc..) to run candidates like him are socially moderate but fiscally conservative?
It is reflected in polling in a tightening race for the New Jersey Senate. Recent Quinnipiac Poll had D+6 and Gravis Poll before had D+2
"Partisanship keeps both party bases loyal to their candidates, according to the Quinnipiac University poll, which shows HUGIN with 85 percent of Republican support and Menendez with 75 percent of Democrats. But independent voters split in the challengerβs favor, 37 to 33 percent."
New Jersey's reply to "what are you concerned about" is "property taxes" but: Ethics in government is the most important issue in deciding how they will vote for U.S. Senator, 25 percent of New Jersey voters say. 21 percent list taxes.
Tonight we have primaries for New Jersey's State Assembly elections and local elections! While there's not a ton of drama here - Democrats are expected to retain their large majorities in November - we'll still be watching to see if any upsets occur.
We'll also have an eye on California Senate District 33, where Lena Gonzalez is in a run-off to hold this seat for the Democrats. However, in a district that voted for Clinton 79-15, we're not too worried.
Polls close at 8pm ET in New Jersey, and 8pm PT (11pm ET) in California!
New Jersey results: Not available in one place, unfortunately, so here's a list of County election sites.

I have been following this race thoroughly by looking polls, folwing the candidates on Twitter, watching their campaign ads, and looking at campaign websites. If there is going to be any upsets in the 2018 midterms, it would likely be this race. This race is much closer than it usually is. Blue wave or not, people are not enthusiastic about Bob Menendez who remains underwater in approval ratings. Hugin has also gotten 5 endorsements from Democratic mayors or past candidates for Congress.
I was wondering what you guys particularly think of Bob Hugin?
He is an interesting candidate who is running as a Liberal Republican.
Some of His Positions Include:
However, I have to acknowledge some of the cons of Bob Hugin: He is a rich Pharmaceutical executive with a concerning history and he has supported Trump in the past, and he may support Mitch McConnell
^ In regards to this, on his twitter, he has sided with Democrats on the need for an FBI Investigation and had called for Dr. Ford and Kavanaugh to testify when the allegations first came out. He has also criticized President Trump for his comments on Puerto Rico.
As a centrist Democrat I am open to more bipartisanship in the Senate, the big problem today is the Democrats are often being bipartisan when it should be some Republicans leading the effort, it cannot be one-sided. Having someone like Hugin may shift the Republicans to be more moderate. Let me know your thoughts below, Especially @Independents/Centrist and Conservative Democrats.
