The NEO PI-R was considered until recently to be the "King" of the Big 5 assessments. It seems that it may now be overshadowed by HEXACO, which apparently does a better job at measuring "neuroticism."

Please take the test and post your results on each of the dimensions measured:

Honesty-Humility: 3.56

Emotionality: 2.44

Extraversion: 3.88

Agreeableness: 2.75

Conscientiousness: 3.44

Openness to Experience: 3.94

When you get your results, there will be sub-measures associated with each of the big ones. Since MBTI N is correlated with Openness to Experience, I would be interested in seeing your results in this area as well. Mine are:

Aesthetic Appreciation 2.50

Inquisitiveness 4.50

Creativity 4.00

Unconventionality 4.75

A personal story

A little over four years ago - a week after I had launched NNT as a one-man-band - a random person sent me a gift of US $500 in NEO. There's a number of Youtube channels that focus on meta commentary on speedrunning, such as general speedrunning history, new records, new categories, and the like, and once upon a time one of the most popular was that of R. White Goose, or simply Goose. Near the end of 2018 screencaps from a speedrunning Discord server run by Goose were leaked that showed several members, most vocally Goose himself, being overtly misogynistic, transphobic, and antisemitic, among a whole host of other forms of bigotry. (Before I get accused of lack of neutrality, that objectively happened: Goose said he was contemplating removing women from the server, frequently used transphobic slurs, and discussed 'hiding your power level' in reference to the 'Jewish Question'.) This led to speedruning+charity group Games Done Quick (GDQ) cutting ties, as well as an exodus of a portion of Goose's audience to other speedrun commentary channels.

One of the biggest channels to come out of this exodus was that of Australian Youtuber Karl Jobst, who as of writing still has just under 600k subscribers on Youtube. In the last few months, Jobst had started a podcast with fellow speedrunning commentator Tomatoanus, but after the sixth episode was released, Tomatoanus announced that he had been made aware of issues with Jobst and that he was cutting all ties and deleting the podcast. What issues? Well turns out, Jobst was not only in those Discord channels on Goose's server, he was actually fully implicated in the screencaps from 2018, complaining about not being allowed to use the n-word as a white person and claiming it doesn't have the same meaning in Australia. This seems to have been something brushed under the rug at the time, but was brought to Tomatoanus' attention quite recently. While it's not for me to speculate, the userbase may have become a little more suspicious after a video Jobst uploaded on 26 August, when he revealed that Notch (yes, the transphobic creator of Minecraft) was covering his legal fees in a then-upcoming (and now ongoing) suit by controversial speedrunner Billy Mitchell.

hello i was wondering if anyone could help me out with setting up my raspberry pi 4 with parrot os i cant seem to get it to work with my r pi 4. when i use the raspberry pi imager to install raspberry pi os it works no problem, but when i try it with parrot os when i try to boot up my pi it says unable to read as fat i even tried using another program to do it called balenaEtcher and had the same problem

This is a bit of a niche thing but I'm making my own game for a college project and wanted to put it onto a pi to play it with a old arcade style controller I built to go into the gpio. I've got the controller and I can play/port standard rom onto it but I'm struggling with how to get the game to run on the pi with out needing to download Pico-8 onto it as I know I can do that but would rather avoid it.

NVM I don't think they is a way without putting the PICO-8 download on it directly, but that does kinda make sense with the way that it's stored.

Apparently the recent neo-Nazi march that circulated on social media is actually from earlier this year and wasn’t in DC. Conservative however falsely reports it as being in DC and even suggests that it’s “another false flag.” Bizarrely many commenters claim that the neo-Nazis are actually the FBI in disguise. Why an apolitical organization would want to frame white supremacists is a mystery. The FBI does not go around and make fake marches.

Conservative regularly spreads bogus election fraud claims and is now claiming that a neo-Nazi march is a “false flag.” It is weird seeing people who claim to supposedly care about child safety and national security demonize the FBI. The FBI arrests hundreds (if not thousands) of child molesters annually and prevents countless terrorist attacks in the US regularly. I think it’s because since many child molesters and terrorist plotters are alt right many far right conservatives falsely think that the FBI “goes after” conservatives. Hence an increasing number of far-right conspiracy theories that claim that neo-Nazis are the FBI in disguise or the FBI are implanting child abuse material on alt right members. Apparently there has to be an elaborate conspiracy against the alt right instead of the alt right having a lot of criminal activity. The FBI does not do anything like this, they just work to keep America safe and don’t care about one’s political views.

Although r/ WorldNationalists is technically a "small sub" (under 1k members), I am posting this portion of my "mop-up" of remaining alt-right subs within the sphere of the now-banned r/ AuthoritariansDiscuss separately due to the serious real-life, potentially legal, ramifications of hate organizations posting on Reddit.

Once again, here on r/ WorldNationalists, a user has for the past several weeks been posting propaganda and videos of the neo-Nazi group Patriot Front without consequence:
