Hi, im a car guy... i love playing car related games, watching car related videos and what not... cars are pretty much everything for me
I like the nfs series because of how heavily cars can be customized, you can change pretty much everything, and as a car lover.... its a great feature
the car games I currently play are Need for Speed: Most Wanted 2005, BeamNG drive, Pixel car racer :P etc, (nfs mw is awesome btw, i love that game)
Ive been saving up for a new pc for almost 3-4 years... and yesterday i finally bought it, its not the best gaming laptop out there... but its what I could afford and gets the job done perfectly
Here are the Specs:
AMD Ryzen 5-3550h
AMD Radeon RX560X
8gb DDR4
I checked some minimum requirements, youtube videos, websites etc... and found out that this laptop can run Nfs payback on medium settings, which is a great thing...
However im completely out of money because i had to give some to my parents and spent the rest on the laptop, I really have no money to afford any sort of games at all, and i really want to play need for speed, ...it would be a great experience for me...
I would really really appreciate if anyone here is kind enough to gift me a code of Need for speed payback....standard edition,
thank you for taking the time to read this
Btw, the bot is asking for my steam id for some reason, so here u go

With Need For Speed 2019 on the horizon I think it would be a good Idea to talk about police in Need for Speed 2019. Especially now instead of right before release. Many will remember the events of September 2017 where it was uncovered that police would NOT be making a return in free roam form like most were expecting. Instead police were delegated to certain side-missions and bait crates. Probably due to time constraints, as when you poke around the in-game files, there is evidence that suggests that the police were supposed to have a bigger impact than what they actually did in the game. Looking back at that fiasco and how the game ended up turning out, I think itβs safe to say a somewhat big reason for the game being poorly received was due to the police only being available in missions, and being scripted. This is not the entire reason why, but just a major factor.
One of the best feelings you can achieve in a Need for Speed game is relief. That sense of relief you feel once you escape the cops after a long and anxious police pursuit with the entire cityβs police force on your ass. After Need for Speed 2015βs police failed to encapsulate that feeling, ghost went for a different approach. The police in Payback were indeed much more challenging, but that βthrill of the chaseβ was gone the moment you realized that everything in the chases is scripted. Especially on missions. Where all the roadblock spawn, where the Rhinoβs spawn in, where the cops lose you, etc. There is nothing organic about the chases in Payback. Because of this, after the second or third playthrough of a chase, the chases became boring. There was no strategy behind chases, no split second decisions, and after a while, no challenge. Payback, just like NFS 2015 had also failed to give us a police system that lives up to the name Need for Speed. However, Iβm the type of person who believes that good can come out of bad, and thankfully, there are some lessons to be learned from Payback.
Police MUST Be in Freeroam.
This is the main takeaway. Police should roam in the freeroam and give us organic car chases. Where every chase is just a little bit different from the last. The world should also be rife with hidden alleyways, parking lots, hidden driveways, and little nooks and crannies that allow you to hide and effectively lose the cops. Differently and organically, as opposed to crossing a finish line and the police just giving up. Another great addition to this would be to see the

Just looking for a racing game where I can customize cars and I'm interested to try NFS.
If you've tried it, what was your experience on it?
Is it just me but no matter how good your f***ing car is, it just drifts and drifts with a little bit more drifting and its really hard to control?
Even though there was a problem with gifting the game on the store, u/soupnugget went out of her way to buy me a code that was not on sale... show her some love!
I'm almost done with the career mode and I wanted to post some thoughts regarding the game and the series as a whole. The overall layout of Payback is good and has potential for future sequels but there are many flaws with the game that absolutely need to be addressed before the sequel rolls around. First let's start with the good.
The best 3 things they did right (and what they need to keep building on):
Open World - I love the open world design. It's fun driving your car in a huge world, exploring the map, having cruises with friends, and finding random events to do (speed traps, roamers, jumps, derelict project cars, car garages, etc). Race/drift/drag/runner events should be kept for the next game but this needs to be expanded upon. The map needs to be bigger. There needs to be more things to find. There also needs to be more events. Runner should be changed to Transporter where you focus on either avoiding the cops or outrunning them. There should also be some kind of wreckless mode where you focus on doing damage with trucks. Drag races should be divided between 1/8th mile, 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, mile, and finally two mile so you are forced to readjust your tune. Maybe a few autocross events. Finally some kind of "police" mode where you chase street racers and bring them down. This could also be done online. As for single player, the AI needs to be less on rails and more random like the GTA5 cops. We should have access to all of the cars without them being chapter locked.
Car Customization - It's like an RPG game. It's fun starting off with a shitbox, tuning it, and eventually taking down exotics and supercars much later in the game. Racing games revolve around the love of your car and I'm glad there's so many customization options to let you build and personalize the car that you love. I just wish it was done a little bit better. Apart from the slot machine upgrades (which I'll get to in a bit), the visual upgrades need to also effect your car's performance. For instance larger wheels are heavier and should decrease your acceleration. Larger wings are great for the track, not so much the drag.
Story - As cheesy as it was, I loved it. We all loved Fast and the Furious because it was cars and car culture. It was very much a walking meme but it was enjoyable. I think Need for Speed games need a story - nothing complex, just something basic that pushes you forward. I enjoyed having a crew that had a different car. I loved switching between
Thx for leaking the next abandoned vehicles to come for payback till June 4. I really love the ford crown and I want more police sirens added as an update like the AI Police uses themself in payback.
Also Iβd like to see the Dodge Police Charger to be added as an abandoned vehicle after June 4 too.
In Need for speed 19 it should be possible to drive the ford crown and maybe the dodge police charger too as like on payback right now. As i heard from Ben Walke the Police Emoji will be come back in nfs 2019. That leads for the hint that we will be able to drive at least one of the squad cars from the Police fleet again. Because why else would there be the emoji then for? Pretty sure not for the AI interaction. But still wanted to point this out.
Looking forward for the payback update and for the ability to drive authentic police cars in need for speed multiplayer.
Thx
Wasnβt aware this game existed, however on my Xbox they are doing it for 75% off ( Β£6.25 ) and considering getting it.
I love Forza Horizon 4, would I like need for speed ?
Thanks
Just search for the game in the store, I'm downloading it right now.
